This query is for guys who enjoy those little sexual accessories known as Cock Rings and/or Cock Straps.

Users tend to fall into one of two camps of preference: those who’d rather slip their man parts through a firm or stretchy Ring, and those who are happier with an adjustable Strap.

I prefer an adjustable Cock Strap, and used leather ones for years until I went Vegan in the mid-1990s and switched to a denim 3-snap strap. Because denim deteriorates after much contact with the coconut/olive oil I use when jerking-off, I usually buy a half-dozen Cock Straps at a time, and regularly throw them in the wash (along with my cum rags), using then until they get too ragged to serve their purpose comfortably.

I like using a Cock Strap because I have high-riding balls, and the strap prevents my balls from hurtling into my groin as orgasm approaches. I do, however, unsnap and remove the thing right before an orgasm, otherwise the flow of cum is uncomfortably constricted and ultimately leads to a less-than satisfactory ejaculation.

I prefer an adjustable strap or lasso. The poly urethane are comfortable and snug. At the moment of climax, they are easier to remove so as not to constrict the orgasm flow. I also note in the pictures, that the typical use shows the rings with both the shaft and balls slipped through. California Exotics makes one called the DOUBLE HELIX QUICK RELEASE COCK RING which goes behind the scrotum and has a second loop to go over the shaft. I wear either, though I do tend to favor the strap if I'm going to be wearing it for a long period of time (like if I'm wearing it under business attire rather than just for the evening).

I own all the above. A metal ring actually feels the best for a long wearing (and I think looks the best) but I'm always sort of nervous that I'll get over-inflated and won't be able to get it off (we've all heard about guys in the ED getting them cut off, probably mostly urban legends).

The rubber rings tend to irritate, so only for a quickie.

The three-snap leather strap is probably my favorite because it's adjustable, and I can pull it off easily before I cum. I like it especially for an evening at the baths. But it can start to chafe if I wear it too long. They all seem to be stable with the silicone lube I use.

I dig rings. I started using a steel one years ago but it's too tight to wear for an extended amount of time. I now prefer silicone rings because of their elasticity. Easier to get on and off. To this day I'm still not sure if it really makes/keeps me harder then if I didn't wear one but when I have it on I feel like a "framed picture". I also love to suck a nicely ringed cock.

I like rings. I have not tried the metal ones, but I love using the silicone type. I think they feel good to wear, and make my orgasm more intense. The straps just don't do it for me, they get uncomfortable too quickly.
