I prefer an adjustable Cock Strap, and used leather ones for years until I went Vegan in the mid-1990s and switched to a denim 3-snap strap. I prefer an adjustable strap or lasso. The poly urethane are comfortable and snug. At the moment of climax, they are easier to remove so as not to constrict the orgasm flow. I also note in the pictures, that the typical use shows the rings with both the shaft and balls slipped through. My balls are rather large and are not going to comfortably slip through a inflexible ring.

California Exotics makes one called the DOUBLE HELIX QUICK RELEASE COCK RING which goes behind the scrotum and has a second loop to go over the shaft. All the QUICK RELEASE series are adjustable to your individual comfort. Just measure and cut, and then put in the quick snap piece. Works great.

The multi-ring and leather cock cages are, in my opinion, more for show than actual use. They do not look comfortable for either oral or anal use. Perhaps someone can educate us.

I own all the above. A metal ring actually feels the best for a long wearing (and I think looks the best) but I'm always sort of nervous that I'll get over-inflated and won't be able to get it off (we've all heard about guys in the ED getting them cut off, probably mostly urban legends).

The rubber rings tend to irritate, so only for a quickie.

The three-snap leather strap is probably my favorite because it's adjustable, and I can pull it off easily before I cum. I like it especially for an evening at the baths. But it can start to chafe if I wear it too long. They all seem to be stable with the silicone lube I use.

I dig rings. I started using a steel one years ago but it's too tight to wear for an extended amount of time. I now prefer silicone rings because of their elasticity. Easier to get on and off.
