Yes, it was a raid in Phuket in a place called Uncle Charlie Boy. There were 6 kids working who were under 18, two of them only 14 years old. The article goes into quite a bit of detail about what these boys were forced to do with farang men and couples. The owners are in some serious sh#t.

Not a surprise - it happened about 3-4 yrs ago too. I visited in April to Uncle Charlie Bar, mamasan was nasty, manager was nasty - very pushy with booze and bois. I left in about 10 min and never went based on that and the fact it was very obvious they had underage boys there - kept insisting a private room upstairs NOT hotel... a sure sign.

Also not a surprise because about 3 weeks ago there was a report about child trafficking in Asia on CNN and a charity representative being interviewed specifically mentioned the large sign clearly visible in Phuket promoting "Uncle Charlie's Boys".
