New Year's Eve and Day in Pattaya 2006!!!!!

I will be traveling solo in Pattaya from 30 December until 05 January (length of time, my sole choice). Normally during a New Year's Eve-- what is the most fun place to spend most of your time, Boyz, Boyz... or somewhere else?

If you were I, list four bars/clubs in order of your preference that you would go to on 31st December, and I'll use your expertise and experience as my guide. Thanks!

I have never been to Thailand during that time but I imagine the most crowd fun would be in boyztown but if I were you I would stay by the beach for after hours fun

if you like the beach. Many Thai go to the beach at this time and there is often a traffic jam resulting in difficulty getting a song tau back to boys town, sunnee or where ever. There are bars & decent - very good restaurants within walking distance.

When I'm there at that time I usually take that week's, or month's, Bf and a couple of his friends to a movie at Big C, dinner after the movie at a Thai restaurant, avoid the tourist (trap) "special" dinners; then a couple drinks and to the room for the real celebration. Dancing to my CD walkman, with speakers; what did you think?

Since you are arriving on the 30th you'd need to do a bar crawl & hope to connect with a 'keeper' that night or take your chances on the 31st, so best you get to the bar early, at opening time, before the good ones are all off, or have been offed three times, and don't procratinate. He who waits gets sloppy seconds. Or thirds.

If you don't stay at the beach you might try Monty's pool and avoid the rat race to & from (worse) Jomtien.

Thanks, Toy Fan- and guys, keep those specific suggestions flowing, please! I am destined to travel next Thursday, 15 December to Thailand where I will be for a month!

You know how many times I've had sloppy seconds, thirds, forths, fifths, sixths, etc at saunas, parks and dark rooms? LOL

You could say that some of us like it...
