Question Thai AirAsia's 99 Bhats special = Sould we book now ?

They have a new special from BKK now .
99 Bahts to Krabi , Chiang Rai , Ubon , Udon and Hat Yai .
199 Bahts to Macau and Phnom Penh .

Thai AirAsia Special

But I now very worry , because of this .

Asia Aviation just a proxy ?

Sould I book now ? or wait ?

Yes, book now. But pay by credit card - if anything goes wrong it will be easier to get the money back than paying by cash.

Scam

It’s just another scam for Thaksin to "buy" control of all businesses in Thailand.

Question Would they refund ?

Thai Guy Quotes ,

***
if anything goes wrong it will be easier to get the money back

***
Their term of conditions in case of termination of flights ,
they have 2 options .
One of them IS ,

" should you choose to travel at another time, retain the value of your fare in a credit account for your future travel provided that you must re-book within three (3) months therefrom "

But I have already booked one domestic and one international sector . I couldn't resist the special ( but I paid in cash )
For this couple of days ( after the announcement of ASIA AVIATION's share restracturing ) , they've been changing their air fare very often .
They don't advertise on the website , but some international sectors's airfare has been heavily reduced ( for example , about 1500 Bhats less on BKK=KLIA )

A friend of mine purchased a ticket for me on this airline in November for my January departure from Bkk to Phuket. The fare came to sixty dollars rt; I was indeed fortunate and elated and had no fear in terms of this being a scam.

I even got on before a lot of other travelers because of my bum knee; I managed to do this after folks had lined up. I didn't know this line was for my particular flight, so I went to the counter and addressed my concern with a customer agent. He let me proceed; after I had gotten on the flight, I had seat 18 aisle which was recommended to me by the extremely handsome male flight attendant. The flight, although maxed out in terms of passengers, was indeed comfortable.

On my return to Bkk, I had an exist row seat by the window. This was rooooooooooooomy.

So as one writer wrote-- "stop worrying." Go and enjoy yourself immensely!

PS They even serve a nice snack, much better than the so-called snacks that we get on US carriers...

Did U check on the 1st day ?

There were ONLY 60,000 seats available when they started this 99 Bhats for some domestic destinations and 199 Bhats for Macau and Phnom Penh .
If you cannot find , it means all seats on this special have been TAKEN already , I'm afraid .

Would it be worthwhile for me to go to Krabi for a nice relaxing holiday if I were hoping to find some nice gogoboys?

Definitely not. The nearest go-go boys would be in Phuket.

Air Asia

During their free tkts promotion, I told myself to get tkts to Macau, Phnom Penh, Bali but ended up with 3 trips to BKK !!! Now I worry if I should make the 3 trips especially when the thai baht is going up and up.
Ninja.... stop worrying so much... just buy and enjoy your trip. The fares are cheap anyway!
