I had an interesting experience last week Thursday. I tried going to the cinema next to 39 (so, it's very easy to find the Cinema, you walk past a big cinema in the same soi at 39! But that one was closed--I'm guessing it was for the National Holiday that day. There seemed to be workers around, so I don't think it's closed for good.
