Thumbs down shortchanged

Usually I don't count my change when I go to these bars, I mean how much can they take: 20-40 bahts?

So, imagine my surprise to find out that Team Boy shortchanged me by 200 bahts!

Rather greedy. Not even an apology when I asked for the correct change.

I tend to get extra careful when a bar looks emptier than usual. My experience has been that when business is bad, they resort to such tactics. Was Team Boy well patronised when you were there?

I was there early with a friend and was the first to leave. Being Asian, I find that the common conception is that the first customer is considered very important in terms of luck because he sets the tone for rest of the day/evening.

So if the first customer leaves a big tip and offs a boy, then the bar will do good business that night. I guess to offset my leaving early, the bar had to make money some other way. Anyways, just a thought.

Team Boy is usually pretty empty.

By the way, Screw Boys has closed and all their boys have moved to the owner's other bar - Fresh Boys
