maybe just my imagination ( and perverse desire) but recent scans of the gay dating sites (gaydar, recon, etc) seems like more thai guys are posting and saying they are interested in kinkier activities. Any thoughts on this from the board?

I think it's not a question of Thai guys getting more kinky...just getting more open and curious about the darker side of naughtiness. I've always found plenty of Thai guys interested in such things on the various BDSM websites of which I am a member.

Two things can be credited (blamed?) over all others: the increasing availability of pornography (particularly videos, then VCD's), and of course the internet.

Now boys with non-vanilla inklings can easily hook up with others eager to experiment, without the potential loss of face that might occur if they were to propose something slightly (or not so slightly) off-the-wall to someone in person.

I am certainly not going to complain about the increased curiosity regarding kinky activity in Thailand but I do want to say that you have to be careful not to go too far with a first timer.
