I only go to massage places every other month and Aqua used to be a favourite. Now it seems to be going downhill. The other evening I told the mamasan exactly what I was looking for, was asked to choose from a group of about half the guys there, selected one and agreed to a 90 minute oil massage. Although the boy had been there for a year and obviously knew the ropes, the massage was so-so at best, the boy used up all the oil only half way through, then said he did not 'do' what I'd requested, and it all lasted a fraction over 60 minutes. I've never had such a negative massage anywhere! I haven't been to V Club for years. Does anyone have any recent experiences there - or any other recommendations?

Hero is by far the best in town, IMHO. I stopped going to V Club a couple years ago and never plan to go back.

Sukhumvit Area is the most convenient and best place.
There are many massage places for gays such as Hero, Alburi, 66, Banana club, Ambassador health center and, Deep Blue, at soi 11. B & N at Sukhumvit plaza, Body club at soi 8, so on..
It's easy to choose and don't waist time for the bad traffic jam.

I need your experienced advice. We always learn that you should not use oil with condoms as it spoils the condom. So, how do you handle this if you want sex after an oil massage (as I usually do)? I have alwas limited it to handjobs, because I am too afraid of it being unsafe otherwise. Any tips?

You should be aware that only latex based condoms break with oil. You can now buy condoms that are oil safe as they are not made from latex. The most common brand is avanti made by durex. They are thinner, but more expensive. I am not sure if they are readily available in Thailand.

and if u want to save money on an expensive non-latex condom, you can always take a quick shower after oil massage (cream washes off more easily) and proceed with fucking if that's what u want.

Made use of their facilities, haven't been in years. Very nice, 700 Baht for 90 minutes, great massage and after massage activities. Well worth it!

My previous experience with the Ambassador -- many years ago -- was that you could expect a hand job, and that perhaps they would let you suck them off. But not much more. Has the service become "fuller" recently?

Also, in the past, unless you knew the name of a masseur to request by name, you pretty much had to take whoever they assigned to you. There was no "line-up" like in the true gay massage parlors.

Is this still the case?

It is still the same. You can suck some of them, some may fuck you (was told recently by one of the boys that that morning one lady came in and had two boys in ("both holes")). Some may kiss. All give handjobs. There is one that does suck but not seen him recently. So all a bit hit and miss unless you get to know them. They have a picture book - but most of the pictures are well out of date. Not sure if they do more if you stay there and they go to your room. The massage though is good. In the evenings some cruising in the small sauna and can then go into the shower cubicle. But do not go with any expectation of more than a hand job. Only advantage is that open at 9am. After 3pm better to go to the other places nearby if you want more.

Find Apsara on Silom has variable guys - ie some do a lot others nothing. Rooms tend to be a bit more private than the other similar types of establishments and give more Spa like treatments.

I've visited many of the massage places along Silom that are supposedly only for massage (non-sexual). There are many times that I got exactly that, a massage only. And, there are times that I had playful masseurs who gave me a hand-job. I enjoy the mystery of these places - wondering "will he or won't he".

But often, I get the feeling that the masseur MAY be teasing me a bit to see if I want more. But it's difficult to be sure.

What do you guys do in these situations to find out if the guy is willing to do more? I'm worry about being too blatant for fear of embarrassing myself and/or the masseur in case he has no intention of being sexual.
