Was ther last week around 18.00. Loos beind foodpark-quite a maze to get there. 3 smirky smiling guys came just out and a giant very long, very wide, very thcik Thai?> man standing smiling. Later I overheard the boys-they were Burmese (there are a lot living there). Then yet another one came out of the loos, buttoning his shirt. He spoke with the boys for a new date.
BTW this shop has really gone to near deserted since it was Cfour ever. Big holes, empty spots everywhere.
Nearby is UNIOPNmall-a kind of MBK local style with also many language schools-said to be cruisy with studnets.

I go there on a regular basis and it's indeed mostly the eye-candy (university students and the likes) that draws me there. I'm not into toilet cruising, but it's really easy to get in touch with salespersons and shoppers alike.

I don't really see the point of comparing Union Mall to MBK, as the former is mostly for younger Thais and the latter mostly for tourists. Rather naturally, the selection of products on sale and the price levels differ.

Last week areound Saranrom park: plenty of smiling young guys-so many that i kept wondering. But then along the canal-it turned out the other streets were closed off-there was the marathon next day, so double the crowd on 1 street.
Union=like MBK used to be very long ago-to give some idea. The shop i was sitting in-with all those moving pix you see now-thats not so inviting to post this board in some BKk webshop-hence the quick typing and many mistakes, sorry for that.
