I had a massage at Bonny's in Soi Twilight about two years ago. It was not a happy experience and I have never been back.

Earlier in the day I had seen these cute guys sitting by the door, so later in the evening I thought I'd go and pick one for a massage with a happy ending. How mistaken I was. After going upstairs, (the boys following me), I was asked what massage I wanted and given a price list to look at. I was then taken to a massage room, nothing special, and left. I had expected to be taken to the room the boys were sitting in and offered a choice. Even thought some would be brought to me in the massage room giving me a choice. No boys were brought in to give me this choice. A boy then entered the room with a towel round his waist, said hi, and beckoned for me to get on the table face down. I asked him to take his towel off and at first he was somewhat reluctant. I must have given the impression I was about to leave as he then gave a broad smile and let it drop. The massage was only so-so and after manhandling him for a while he then gave me a hand job, but wasn't that enthusiastic.

The reasons I won't return are;
a) I feel I should have been allowed to choose a boy. They are sitting downstairs by the door enticing punters but disappear into a room just off the reception after taking you upstairs.
b) As twilight is the gay sex area in BKK, am I wrong in taking it for granted that the boys would perform as hoped for?
c) These boys were sitting by the door on the pavement giving me the eye and a smile and letting me think I was on to a good thing if I went up with them. Nothing could be further from the truth. I assume it is a management thing that they choose who your masseur will be.

I don't know if others have had the same experience as me, but as far as I'm concerned it was once too often. There are far better places in Bkk who give a first class service.
No doubt they will continue in business as they will always get newbies to Bkk who are attracted to Soi Twilight and will go down the same path as I did.

It is such a pity. It is in a prime location and they could be inundated with repeat clients if only they gave the same service as the other massage parlours in Bkk.

K-Why - my only experience there was having selected a real hottie, as I was changing the mamasan wanted the fee and a Bht1,500 tip all paid upfront - explained that thought that did not leave much incentive for good service and left. I assume, Icon, as you recommend it, that that is not normal practice?

Anyone been to 66 at end of Sukhumvit 13. Went last week having seen it in Dreaded Ned. Was not sure if it was going to be a "clean" one or not. Price of 90min massage was Bht1,200 so thought would be clean. But then was able to choose a boy and told tip not included -so assumed not clean. Boy left the room as I showered, kept fully dressed, kept towel over private parts, and kept hand away from anywhere interesting during a very good massage so assumed clean. Right at the end put his crotch next to my hand, his clothes came off and then a Hero/ Albury style. Had 6 masseurs there, very nice rooms with large shower inside etc, boys were of the Banana style. But at BHT1,200 why would you go there rather than Banana?? And seemed I was the only person there.

That is the system at K-Why. You pay 1,500 in advance, of which half goes to the house and half goes to the boy. You are perfectly free (and probably expected) to give the boy an extra 200-500 on top of that, afterwards.

I've had four or five experiences there, all of them very, very good. I gave the boys 200-500 afterward, so their take would be similar to a 1,000 - 1,300 total (commensurate with what the boys get at other places). They appeared to be very happy.

Good thing about this place is that it stays open much later than the other massage places. Last call is either at midnight or 1:00 (not sure which). It's not the fanciest place in town, though, for sure.
