So I did dip my toe in this type of water and choose the SapanKwai Phahonyotin. When I entered I realised that its years+More ago I have been into a real cinema. Plus that you always neatly get in+out when the lights are on before and after the movie. Anyway- this fresh face for the regular hangouts there was an immediate hit- i could hardly see a thing yet and was approached by the assorted ladyboys/katoeys and then the boys. First there was a HKG style kungfu movie, followed bgy funny soft s.x. -kind of bachelor party. About 30/40 patrons present-a fair lot of farng among them.
Found it all quite clean and well-kept-but then I sat in the large front. Moved backward later and got more approach-quite nice lookingn lads-who politely asked i8f I wanted fun and if I were prepared to pay. i just let it pass and see how it all went.
Right before me someone agreed and got an awful long s..k-off, to where more and more onlookers came watching. Some even started to also caress him. Well-in fact IMHO this would have been better set up like that in a sauna-there is one right at corner. But a bargain for the quoted 100 bt(first was 200-but that was lowreed pretty soon).
Well worth the entry-for yet another experience.
BTW-is there some peak time for these type? My visit was late afternoon-I thought that would be best? They open aorund 11.00-even earlier on sat+sun

Well I'll answer my own question... I arrived today about 4pm, it wasn't super crowded (It's a Monday), but like 40-50 guys there.
Before I even made it past the toilets, a 30 muscular guy with a tank top, washboard abs, and some tattoos... super hot, so hot I thought he was a Money Boy...Also because he carried a small messenger bag. Found out later he's... a messenger! So, no money request.
I followed him to the seats. I blew him for a while and he asked to go to the Hawng Nam.... we headed to the toilets where he mercilessly fucked the hell outta me.

Well I've never been fucked in that cinema except in the hawng nam--plus there are lots of lurkers who are very aggressive and try to either get in between you and your man or at least crowd around you. So I'd say it's for privacy mostly.

The correct way of referring to the statue of King Taksin, by the way, would be "roop pan somdej prachao Taksin maharat". And for God's sake don't pronounce Taksin like Thaksin Shinawatra.
