So what do you plan to tell the cops when they walk in the door and find you with a boy's cock in your mouth?

-- "Dear,kindly sergeant Krupke,
"You gotta understand,
"My muvver's always randy,
"My father's always canned.
" (with apologies ;-) ),.

-- But the boi was just offering me a cock-tail and I was taught that it would be impolite to refuse an host's kind offer.

1) How much does is it cost? If I smoke 4 boys, is 100 baht for each one adequate?
2) Is this done only in Nature Boys or in all/most bars?
3) Will they also smoke me right there at the table? How much will that cost?
4) Do cops really walk in? Scouring this and other forums, I've seen no mention of such an occurance...

I've seen cops walk into Nature Boy unannounced, but I did not stick around to see the results. You're literally no more than five feet from the street in that bar. Too risky for me...what's wrong with getting a room?

Uniformed.

Anyway, I think it's just too risky for me as a foreigner who makes his living and permanent home in Bangkok.

All tourists are risking is maybe a couple days in the can, a fine, their photos in the paper, and deportation...unless the boy happens to be shy of his 18th birthday (Nature Boy has been known to be flexible on this issue).

Then they're in a bunch of trouble.

Anyway, as long as people are reminded that this is an AYOR activity...

1) Isn't getting a room more expensive, especially if you want a bunch of them?

2) If policmen do come in, how long should it take the "cigar" to disappear back into the loincloth? Not having lived through such a scene, I find the thought of it quite entertaining...

Yes, of course it is. But how much do you think it would cost you to get out of a "predicament".

Too long for my tastes. I'm not willing to risk it, not that I have a proclivity for public performances anyway.

1. - That the Capt. told me that he doesn't expect any trouble from BKK's. Finest;
2. - That that estab., and others, makes its regular donations to the appropriate Benefit Fund;
3. - That the barker/caller/tout at the door can recognise a uniformed police-person when he sees one and can alert those inside in time;
4. - That were the local police-persons to pay a visit then word would have got-out about it beforehand.

-- But, the above having been written, "Up to you."!

Pretty much worthless, sextile.

First, the captain of course is going to tell you "no problem, no problem". That's how he stays in business.

Second, there are a dozen or more police units -- not just the local Bangrak police -- who could show up unannounced if they wanted to. The CSD, the special Women, Children, and Youth Welfare Police, regional police, tourist police...who knows what else.

There is no way a bar the size of a postage stamp has is paying off every single unit and every single commander that has the power to do a raid. Commanders also shift around frequently, and often begin their sideline money-making ventures with a firm show of authority.

In fact, it wasn't too long ago that Nature Boy's own captain was arrested for procurement of child prostitutes for customers. It was in the papers.

Third, the cops are not always uniformed, and in fact use both plain clothed Thais as well as farang volunteers. If someone were make a specific complaint, say to the Paveena Hongsakul Foundation or similar do-gooder unit, there would be swift action regardless of any payments made to the local police.

Fourth, as noted above, the bar may have a connection at the local cop shop -- but they may not be the ones who make a surprise visit.

Anyway, we're all entitled to set our own levels of acceptable risk. It just helps to understand exactly what that risk is, and I don't want casual visitors to Thailand to have a false sense of security based on what they may have read here. It's serious business.

fairly clear, I might have thought - but you're quite correct to make all due allowances for others; one should never over-rate others.

You are all quite right - it is a real risk to do stuff in there, especially if you are near naked as I was one time.

But it was fun!

Quite so. We've all done it - all had our pants below our knees and and a cock in mouth and each hand - and would have no chance of "straightening things up" if the cops marched in. But what would the charge / penalty be?. Assuming the boys were 18+ (which I think they usually are) and no money had changed hands at that point (I alway pay post -fun) , and the incident took place in a licenced host bar. Indecent behaviour? Would a single incident compromise the tourist or resident status of the farang? I've never heard of any prosecutions of farangs for sex play in bars - only bars being penalised with fines and temporary or permanent closure (as happens frequently in Pattaya.)

On another subject I was also propositioned to engage in under-age sex when visiting Nature Boy, not by the Captain, but on leaving by one of the group of guys who sit just outside. I was offered a boy located in the tout's room ("not far away - safe ok!") which I firmly declined.

Legally, having sex in a bar is exactly the same as having sex in the middle of Silom Road. It's a public place, so the same laws apply -- public lewdness, indecency, morals, you name it.
