Despite a general disintegration & the usual collapse associated with the passage of years, I do not yet require Viagra or similar drugs, but the meds I purchase regularly for blood pressure & cholesterol were 8% to 15% cheaper than anywhere else in Pattaya. The only reason I mentioned it is because if you reside in Pattaya and if you regularly purchase prescription drugs they do seem to be genuinely cheaper. No idea how they compare for things like Viagra and if you're just passing though Pattaya, the savings probably wouldn't be worth the bother ... It's called Fascino ... they may even have branches outside of Pattaya ... I have no idea.

They did say I would get a 5% discount with the card, but the prices on the two main prescription drugs I take daily were 8% and 15% below the lowest prices I've ever found in Pattaya and some other stuff I've bought was certainly cheaper than elsewhere. I also like that they generate a proper itemized receipt in English since I've got US based coverage for 80% of prescription costs from my former employer.

-- While we were in PATTAYA recently my farang friend & I went to PY. PHARMACY to collect & to pay for the goodies that he had ordered some days earlier.
- We looked-at the packaging for Viagra, noted the lack of any holograms and concluded that the tablets were not the real McCoy. -- Before going-out that afternoon to some masage parlor or other my friend took just 1 tablet of what the pharmacist called: 'Russian Herbal.'. - The following forenoon he remarked that that one tablet was so potent that that morning he had woken-up with his li'l. bro. at attention and all ready for some MORE action - something that hadn't happened to him for quite some time. - Looking-at the Russian Herbal's box most of the writing is in Japanse; across the other end's flap are the JP., GB., USA., Aus.,Cnd., RSA.,ROK. & DK. flags - an interesting choice of countries. - From the accompanying leaflet this product is called: 'Stree Overlord.'* and is manufactured in JP.. Further info. is written in Japanese, Mandarin, English & Arabic. Apart from stating that it contains '12 net natural plants' there is no other formulary info.. --* Availing of search-engine Google I entered: 'Stree Overlord.' and was rewarded by some 4,960,000 results! - Happy reading! -- E&OE.. -- Usual disclaimer. -- Bibi. --

Thanks everyone for all the good information here... I tried a few places in Bangkok -- the mainstream chains (Boots, and such): they all told me I needed a note from a Doctor for Viagra which needed to be filled at a hospital pharmacy, and then the B.U. place at the steps of the Sala Daeng BTS station. There, the extremely gracious older gentleman was happy to take my request. The product was excellent. I would recommend him to all readers.
