Hi,

Is big always best? I only have ever partied in Bangkok, but was wondering whether to spend my 3 days in LOS in Pattaya for something new - will I still have a feast of horny fun there, or will I sit and stare wistfully into space, dreaming of the twinky boys of Soi Twighlight?

Saunas, massage, gogo, host - love them all...

Any advice appreciated.

If you like Bangkok for its saunas - forget pattaya.
If you like Bangkok for its shopping - forget pattaya.
If you like Bangkok for DJ Station and such clubs - forget pattaya.
If you like Bangkok for its Silom soi 4 bars - pattaya's don't compare.
If you like Bangkok for its sexy massage places - you may find some equivalent in Pattaya, but may be disappointed in the smaller selection of masseurs available.
If you like Bangkok for its go-go boys - you may find pattaya somewhere between satisfactory and less-than-satisfactory (especially if you're into the bigger boys)
If you like Bangkok for its erotic bar shows - forget pattaya.
If you like Bangkok for cinemas and street cruising - forget pattaya.

Personally, I prefer to Bangkok to Pattaya anytime. The only thing that leads me back to Pattaya once a year perhaps is the chance to spend a few days on the beach.

mate...its horses for courses......I love both places.......but reckon Pattaya has a constantly changing choice of boys (and lots of them) while in BKK some of the boys seem to have been around since Noah was a boy...

also I'm told (haven't tried yet)...there are now 3 new DJ type discos in Pattaya ...one is called DJ !

I also find the climate in Pattaya is great with a cooling breeze from the sea and often less rain than BKK...

So if you find BKK getting expensive, give Pattaya / Jomtien a go.
