Hi Sexy Tile...and what did you do in the hotel...just read books and watch TV? Sunee is certainly refreshing. The boys are quite fres. One thing I have noticed on Gay Romeo a lot recently is that very few of the oodles of boys that post from the Pattaya/Chonburi region, claim to be working in bars or other sexy outlets. Can they make a living from Gay Romeo only as they claim to have no other type of job...I guess it depends what they look like of course.

-- The hotel was for sleeping; one evening I did 'Off.' a boi - Khun Pong, 22YO., from I-San - from CAT'S PLACE, a pleasant enough youth, even if a little passive in bed.
- But I daresay that I'll write a little MORE about CAT'S PLACE in due course.
- Yes - SUNEE PLAZA is indeed refreshing; I find it much MORE preferable to the BKK. scene; but maybe it's a case of too much familiarity breeds ... ?

-- VILLA ROUGE, in SUNEE PLAZA, is CLOSED and is for sale!
- The latest rumor - as at 26th. forenoon - is that it should RE-OPEN, possibly this week; although whether under new or the olde mngmnt. was not known to my informant - a Pattaya resident of long standing.

-- During the evening of 21 oct. I visited A-BOMB., wch. is on the corner of 2nd rd. & of P'land. soi 2.;
- tel.: (038)-429 043.;
- drinks: 130/140.Bh., (non-alc./alc.),;
- Well, possibly it's a matter of beauty being in the eye of the beholder, so one man's 'Tuk-tuk driver.' might become another man's 'Desireable.'? But to these tired & olde eyes, while they did look to be past their sell-by dates, they weren't too bad looking, really - I've seen worse on the stage.
- #81. looked to the the best, followed by #16.; #33. tried his best to attract my att'n. by jutting fwd. his pte. parts.
- Music not too loud; I saw no other visitors or staff smoking ciggies..

-- Back-tracking one evening on 20th. I visited the flg. two a go-go bars -

1.- CAT'S PLACE,
- addr.: sub-soi OFF Soi DayNight;
- Nicky's Gay Pattaya - Bars, Gogo, Saunas, Massage, Restaurants > Soi DayNight has map;
- If walking along 2nd. rd. turn-off & along Soi 17.; quite some distance along look for illuminated sign: 'OFFICE BOYS.' to your LEFT; turn LEFT and immediately past OFFICE BOYS turn RIGHT; CAT's PLACE is a few yds. to yr. RIGHT; there s an illuminated sign outside.
- Google Earth co-ords.: roughly 100-52-40.E.x12-55-22.N.;
- Drinks at usual 130/140.Bh.;
- Air-cond OUT of action, so reliance upon fans;
- Although there's a not too obvious NO SMOKING sign, that didn't prevent some other farangs from lighting-up;
- Music not too loud;
- Possibly ten or so boyz on parade, apart from one chubby boi rest pretty much the usual and run-of-the-mill type, not eye-candy. #8., (v. well endowed for Thai boi!), & #20. caught my eye, both were busy & occupied with other farangs.
- Apart from better decor, in many ways like say BKK's. SUPER A: Boyz 'Ready, Willing and Able.'!

2.- KRAZY-DRAGON,
- addr.: 273/67, soi sunee,
Sunee Plaza;
- web: Krazy Dragon - The No.1 Gay Bar in Pattaya
- Drinks: all at just 99.Bh.;
- Music not too loud; no smoking that I saw or smelt;
- Boyz wore either very loose & white shorts, (numbered.), or briefs;
- Again, but with some discretion, most boyz 'Ready, Willing and Able.'.
- #99. joined me for some 'Getting to know you.' - a fascinating character in some ways ;-) . Also joined by queanie-boi & waiter Nok.

-- for the five days WEF. 19th. I went to DONGTAN BEACH, Jomtien, the concession just after the ON-beach hawng nahm & opp. to the AVALON HTL., that is o'seen. by 18YO. Khun Nat, (who is straight.), who is assisted by Khun Oam, (who used to o'see. the concession just before the HN., and who has elevated his modus operandi into some HIGH camp life-style & sashaying-about.), provided, that is, that he's not called upon to do anything more than flutter his eye-lids and wiggle his sweet little arse at anyother [Ifarang [/i] who happens to catch his eye.
- For the five days the mid-a'noon. occupany rates of the 130 or so deck-chairs and/or sun-loungers was, from a rough head-count, 20, 25, 30, 60 & 25; there were hy. rains up until noon on the friday, wch. might account for the lower figure? But any day there were slim pickings for the hawkers, masseurs, beach boyz and so on and so forth.

According to a message posted at SGT:

Speaking of which: the police closed down Villa Rouge again last night. Also, voluntarily closed were Tom Yum and, I believe, Playboy. The boys were sent home early. Villa was closed when I got here in October; reopened recently, and has again been closed, for same reason as before I believe, the [boys] were just too young.

Bubbles, Vassa and Cupidol

Well I sallied forth this evening.

Started at Bubbles (a.k.a./ former Crystal).
5 boys on stage, maybe another five sitting about and a few others coming & going. There were several cute, cuddly, twinky, bubbly types. Cute & cuddly doesn't do anything for me, but it could be worth a visit if you're into that. There were certainly a few good looking ones who looked like they’d be fun. I'd suggest going early since there aren't many boys and I suspect the especially cuddly ones get offed early.

There were a couple of more masculine types, almost certainly straight. One had a very handsome face and was somewhat tempting, but he was just stepping over the line from appealingly beefy to discouragingly corpulent. The other guy was OK, but certainly didn't elevate my pulse, so I paid B99 for my untouched drink and set off.

The waiting staff were very pleasant and no one was at all pushy. I was the only customer at first and one other arrived as I was leaving.

Then I decided to give Vassa a try, but there were three very fluffy fragile effeminate things bouncing about in front of the bar and that didn't bode well so I kept going.

I thought about WWB or heading back to A Bomb or Funny Boys, but saw Cupidol and decided to go in.

If forced to describe the boys at Cupidol in general with one word, "inanimate" comes to mind. I'm fairly certain everyone was breathing, but I have to admit that would be pure speculation.

I was in Cupidol a couple of times maybe 6 months to a year ago. Can't recall when they first opened. I seem to remember the boys being livelier then.

One other customer. The waiter got me my drink and after a bit asked if I wanted a boy. I indicated “just a minute” with my hand and was thereafter left to my own devices ... totally.

There was one small, lean rather sexy looking guy sitting on the edge of the stage, but I wanted to see him up and moving around a little. No one moved. Songs started and finished. New songs started. No rotation.

I made some eye contact with the boy and when the zombies on stage finally shifted, he jumped the queue and went up, apparently realizing what I was waiting for. Definitely small, but a handsome face, lean smooth body.

I wanted to speak to a waiter or mamasan before calling him over. Of course, none were to be seen anywhere. I had a few questions, the most important being whether the boy was "natural" or silicone-enhanced. Once before at Cupidol I offed a really nice, personable, cute guy only to be confronted by a misshapen, bloated penis that was a total turn-off.

No mamasan, no waiter. Now the boy clearly understood I was interested and it seemed stupid to keep smirking at each other, so I called him over. Of course then the waiter miraculously appeared for the drink order. I chatted with the boy and forgot my question. I offed him. A nam soda for me, a beer for him and the off fee came to B 580.

He was small overall, but had a really nice body, nice face ... and some fucking irresponsible doctor (I assume it would be a doctor) had turned what would have been a small but proportionate penis into a bloated deformed monstrosity.

I felt bad for him (and more than a little annoyed with myself for letting this happen again), but that thing made it all into a non-starter. I explained why I had to send him off, but he didn’t speak much English and my Thai isn’t up to discussing grossly distorted genitalia. I gave him a nice tip because I didn’t like hurting his feelings ... it's got to be a bit shattering for the ego even if I'm sure he'll survive the “disappointment” in missing the opportunity of having sex with me.

So Cupidol has become one of the few bars I'll never go into again and the Boyztown/Pattayaland bars sink further in my estimation. Totally unproductive, frustrating evening.

I’ll probably give it another go tomorrow, but Sunnee is looking like a better choice… or I may stay away from the bars and remain content with my several regulars, although variety is definitely the spice of life.

I’ve nearly always had good experiences offing guys in Bangkok or Sunnee, but I can’t remember any memorable experiences that began in Boyztown/Pattayaland.

WARNING "Game" on GayRomeo.

I have seen this 21 y.o. boy, (named Game,) regularly for about 6 months. Not the prettiest of faces but a huge shaved appendage and pretty insatiable sex drive and enthousiastic performer. I always rewarded him with 1,000bt plus taxi for an hour or 2 session, he never stayed overnight and always accepted the tip with a smile. Then last week, for no apparent reason, he not only stole my Blackberry, but after selling it asked for a lot of money to sell me back my sim card which he had extracted pre-sale. This is the first time in nearly 20 years I've ever had anything stolen,

He uses 2 handles on GayRomeo "c_boy" and "sexi_lovely_boy"

You have been warned !

I wouldn't trust anyone who has a name "Game" or uses handles like "c_boy" or "sexi_lovely_boy"--indicating a conceited, greedy, boy who just wants to extract money. I've heard of this happening before: long established routine and then all of a sudden you're cleaned out. They see us coming. They're clever and they steal unexpectedly. I've also had the worst experiences with homely types. For some reason, they like the attention they're getting and go overboard with their selfishness and greed. They are more likely to get pushy. It's like some fat ugly woman who is treated nice and then thinks she's pretty and hot and turns selfish, pushy, and greedy.

Another day, another perspective.

I considered going to Krazy Dragon in Sunee, but after reading a couple of favorable reports on A-Bomb and even a positive comment I made more than a year ago about the bar, that’s where I went, keeping Krazy Dragon open as an option if A-Bomb bombed.

I really can't remember anything about my last visit there. But I was VERY IMPRESSED this time. Many, many masculine types with meat on their bones and decent builds. Could have chosen any of several guys, but decided on a moderately tall, reasonably lean man with some abdominal definition. I think his name was Lit, but the music in A-Bomb made coherent conversation impossible. He had previously worked at Boyz Boyz Boyz, but went home during the low season. He wanted to go back to BBB, but they would charge him B 3000 for the privilege. Apparently any boy who takes off for an extended period, possibly with some farang, is expected to be generating daily off-fees. If there are no off-fees handed over, you pay before returning to work.

He is 33 years old, a bit older than I would have estimated. Very nice guy. Very fluent in English. I'm guessing his career in the gogo biz must be drawing to a close, although as I recall some of the guys working at BBB appeared a good deal older than that.

As often happens, as soon as I decided to off him, someone who really caught my attention appeared. He was somewhat smaller but well built and had a beautiful smile. He also looked remarkably like one guy I really like in a couple of Island Caprice videos. Before Lit and I took off, I made repeated, prolonged eye contact with this other guy to establish a connection.

Lit was OK. Nothing spectacular, but not bad. Once he departed I grabbed a song taeow and headed back to A-Bomb, reaching the bar shortly after Lit had returned. Doormen, Mamasan (owner?) and waiters all found that amusing. I didn't see the guy I wanted, but asked for him by number and he was still there. While waiting for him to come over I checked out the guys on the stage and I could have easily offed half of them. Maybe sensing this, the waiter suggested that after I went through all the guys on stage I could also off him. Very amusing.

So this guy is only 22, but looks older. He’s from Goh Chang and had been running a boat service there since he was 17. His mother is working as a cook in Kuwait. He was making good money and then all the misadventures involving the red shirts, etc hit the tourist arrivals and he took a hit financially.
He said he’d be going back to Goh Chang in a month or so since he didn’t like working as a gogo boy. He said he had had an English faen for a few years and made a point of saying he never took any money from him since he was making good money with his work.

Most surprising to me was that he was gay. I’m pretty good at figuring that out with bar boys, but missed it this time. I almost always prefer the straight bar boys, but this guy was exceptionally good. And once we had completed the business at hand he settled back for a bit of a natter. He did most of the nattering and I was impressed with his use of English as he shared his views on politics, business, farangs, relationships and more.

We shared mobile numbers and I promised to call him tomorrow for an encore. He commented twice that if he didn’t hear from me, I’d hear from him, which was reassuring after his mention earlier that he didn’t like being a gogo boy.

He’ll definitely be on speed dial for those times when my long term friend is away, but even if he does pack it in for Goh Chang next month, there was a lot of talent at A-Bomb that could easily fill the void.

Why have I not realized such a treasure trove existed virtually at my door step??

Wantnasian

You appear to be miserable in Thailand so why don't you move and stop wasting our time , telling us how the Thai boys are thieves etc.

I for one am sick of it. Most of these boys do a wonderful job and they are honest. and caring. Try treating them like human beings and maybe you will be treated like one!!!!!

I agree with Kaojai about Bubbles. Went there last night around 21:30. 18 dancers rotating with 6 on stage at each time. Show was professionally done with interesting i.e. cute (non go-go) dancers and none of the long gaps between numbers I find at most bars. I took off one of the very cute doormen which was a mistake. He said he did everything but ended up doing precious little except look cute on the bed. It became clear why he's a doorman (although I've had some very sexy ones in my time). The oversized mamasan is pushy, but overall it was a good bar for a bit of fun escapist entertainment.
