Sauna options?

Because of my current cinema aversion, I did go to the sauna even more than usual last week and that meant Babylon

Although I can't complain about any of my visits, I would like to try somewhere new to me, but where there is at least a reasonable chance I won't offend the local populace too much with my presence (I'm an early 40s Brit, average build, hairy stomach and chest)

I have been to 39 Sauna (where there seemed to be no interest in me) and Chakran (nice place, some nice conversations, but that was all)

How about Farose these days?

I've also read about Sauna Mania which looks convenient.

Any others I should investigate (and report back on)? Thanks

-- While I'm sure that no-one in the LoS. has any stereotypical prejudices against farangs, ethnicity, age, skin-color, religion, BO. and so on and so forth yet I've found that there might still be some few natives who aren't receptive yet to companions with bodily hair.
- Based on my ltd. experiences in 'BABYLON SAUNA.' I've found that after I've shaved my torso and forearms, and trimmed my p*b*c hair I'm MORE likely to 'score.'.

Thanks sextile, all useful information. I have to say that one guy I met absolutely adores my hairyness and I am reluctant to shave - though I think I am prepared to trim a little here and there perhaps?!

Cupidman 25th May 2008 12:12 AM

I've found Heaven to be quite good. It's a bit sticky, but I always, always score there.

Two weeks I was in the hot tub and had a great 3some. During that 3some, a few others guys came and went, lots of sucking going on.

Then I finished up fucking the bottom and sucking his friend in the tub while about 5 guys watched.

You can find Heaven Bangkok on Google.

Zeed Camp/729 Tunnel Sauna

The new sauna is called Zeed Camp, located on Intamara rd. betweens soi 1 and 3, on the way from Suthisan to Saphan Kwai. It was first launched as 729 Tunnel sauna, but accordning to most posts on the Thai web board TMM Society (Thai Male Massage Society), it has not been very successful in attracting a large number of customers in either of its apparitions, although the facilities, large and warehouselike, should be well suited for and exciting sauna. There are several threads about it on TMM Society.

- His gen'l. obs'vn. was that the whole place looked run-down and uncared for, and would benefit from an overall cleaning; his locker contained an empty Condom's pkt., several screwed-up pieces of paper and other detritus from previous users; additionally the door looked as though it had been prised OPEN at some earlier time and had been repaired in an all too usual botched job.
- The crowd comprised a few maturer and chubbier Ch.and a good many Ch. & Th. of the 25-35YO. age-gp..

Zeed and GSM

GSM has always been one of my favourite saunas and I never fail to score there.I am in my 40's and overweight but that doesn't seem to matter at GSM. The crowd is older guys and the youngers guy who enjoy them. Vast cruising areas and the dark rooms on floor 2 always seem to be heaving with group action. For voyeurs plenty of glory holes between cubicles on floor 1. I have enjoyed many a public fck in the rest areas (dark rooms with beds) on floor 1.

I was at Zeed on July 13th. The place is built like a huge abandoned army barracks. I have never seen quite so many cubicles. Has outdoor area, VDO room even the toilets seemed designed for action. Grafiti everywhere. Format was totally nude. Not many people there but managed to join a grp session in a dark room with dormitory style bunk beds down a passage way from teh VDO room. About 5-6 or us all took turns with a 30's guy who welcumed all cummers. As I had not finished there I talk a short wlak over to 39 underground, which was also totally nude. But that place was more for the younger posers and quite sticky rice...I felt out of place. But going back to Silom on the shytrain met a cute accountant...who wanted to spend the night in my hotel room ... so all well that ends well.

A Thai friend has mentioned a new sauna in the Samrong area (approximately across from Imperial Samrong, adjacent to Samrong Market). I think it's called "August".

Might be interesting, as that area is full of horny working class boys (from my experiences cruising the stalls at Imperial Samrong, and the back rows of the nearby State Theater).

Gany 16th September 2008 09:29 PM

Zeed seems interesting. But Sextile's remark it is closed is not so interesting... the site is still running, can anyone confirm it's open or closed?

I often avoid "working class people" as sex partners because I am not sure about their sense of hygiene. Any opinions? For that matter, I get the impression that massage boys have a better knowledge of diseases and are in fact "safer" than strangers at the sauna. Again, any opinions?

icon513 17th September 2008 06:44 AM

My opinion -- based on a sampling of many hundreds -- is that working class Thais are no more or less hygienic than middle and upper class Thais.

From the viewpoint of an Asian: I went to a couple of saunas this past weekend.

1/ Babylon: didn't like at all. not my taste ..
2/ Sauna Mania: what eye candy! got extreme attention from a muscle thai guy. i was surprised how good looking and horny some of them were ..

jyhming 24th October 2008 06:28 AM

Very strange cruising experience for a muscle Chinese

Since I prefer western men in 20-30 with my built, Babylon was the one of the strangest cruising experience every time I visited. Most westerners are not into me because of my physical size, they prefer the skim, darker skinned, small boyish looking Thais which I found to be rather odd. Yet, interesting enough, Thai boys tend to like me quite of bit so many westerners have used me as a bait to get the boys that they wanted so we ended up doing many 3 ways so everyone can have a little fun. It is a one of the few places where I got turned down quite of few times yet I never had problem in most Europeans and American saunas. This still holds true in most saunas in Asia..Very interesting

Taoboxer 24th October 2008 07:51 AM

I can't speak for westerners, not being one myself but I can tell you that many, many Asians love men with wellbuilt bodies, even more if they are like you - a fellow Asian. As you must have observed, there are very few such Asians who are gay and actually go into saunas for some action. Keep hitting the weights and don't forget to get some R&R at the saunas, too - you'll be Stud Number One most times, I assure you.

-- Y'day., (29th.), a'noon. I went-out to SAM RONG - an area that has been terra incognita to me.
- I took the BTS. to ON NUT, (E9.),.
- Thence by 'bus.: #2., a freebie ride to S'vit. 113., wch., as the 'bus. was o'crowded. with OUT of skool yoofs, I missed and thus didn't de-bus. until we were over the khong and at Tnn. Thepharak.
- I walked-back until I came to IMPERIAL WORLD, (not to be confused with 'IW.' LAD PHRAO!), wch., I noticed, included a BIG C. - for further info. see other thread Cruising spots.
- I stayed about an hr. there before deciding to return.
- I caught a returning #2. wch., for some reason, did not go to ON NUT - the conductress pointed to a yellow sign hung outside. So I had to take another 'bus. instead.

-- At ON NUT I did not cruise around LOTUS-TESCO; since the inst'n. of the small inter-stall dividers it has become a waste of time going there.
- I then went to AGAYA MASSAGE - see other thread.

-- But now that I'm a bit MORE familiar with SAM RONG I shall return there and see this fabled AUGUST SAUNA and anyother places.

icon513 31st October 2008 10:35 PM

Same side of the street as Imperial World, but a couple hundred yards before (closer to the center of town). You can see the theater marquee if you look, but the theater is way back behind a couple rows of dilapidated old commercial buildings. It is a suck cinema, no money boys I have ever seen. But it is very quiet; nothing like the Phaholyothin. Maybe you'll find half a dozen cruisers at any one time.

Dear Mr. S Tile, Wat Dan Samrong is along Sukumvit soi 113. From Sukumvit Road, go along soi 113 for 390 meters. On the right hand side is a sub soi which seems to have no name/number, but it is between soi Samrong Nuea 4 and 6.(sois with the name Samrong Nuea are those on Sukumvit soi 113 starting at Sukumvit end....I have no idea why they are not called Sukumvit soi 113 soi 2 and etcc...but you get my drift??). Now when you get to this sub soi apparently with no name or number, enter it and Wat Dan is 100 meters down there on the left. It's possible that the illusive sauna is near the corner.
Wat Dan can be seen at 13. 38. 46 and 100. 36. 00 on G. Earth with amazing clarity.

Yes, Mr. Tile...I am not sure which is the "newly opened" part...apparently it may be called "Nevada Meeting Sport Club" now, but when I used to go a year or so back, it was always A-Men.
When I walked down there last month, I did not see the A-Men sign that used to be on Ramkhamhaeng Road. When I walked down the sub soi, there appeared to be a courtyard/carpark where the old A-Men was...maybe it's the new place but I couldn't recall any name.
I used to use A-Men as a place to take fresh Ramkhamhaeng students for recreation. It was very cozy and had many dark, leafy areas. They also had some decent massage boys on the upper floor.
But now Torpedo is more convenient to take students for their homework.

My previously posted aerial photograph of the State was correct. I went there over the weekend and got a GPS reading.

Go into Sukhumvit Soi 78, down to the end, take a left, and the cinema will be facing you in the second sub-soi on your right. Admission is 50 baht, parking 10 baht.

Within 5 minutes of arriving, I was on my knees in front of a handsome young man in the back. He opened his pants, and out popped a nice, large, hard cock -- already wearing a condom! Not what I was hoping for.

He seemed to want "the final favor", which I was not prepared to give him -- and sucking on a balloon is not my thing -- so he quickly moved on. A couple of other cruisers were present, but none remotely of interest.

Fair warning: this place is probably NOT worth going out of your way for.

Had intended to try August Sauna while there, but felt lazy and decided to make it another day.

Has anyone any info about this one:
MIX MAN- near the Kok Wua intersection at Ratchdamnern=that big avenue toward Sanam Luang, side of Royal Hotel-opposite SAKE-a long standing and well known pub. This is opposite the Khao Sarn backpack area.
Saw an ad in a freebie mag-entry 139 bt normal, 69 bt before 17.00 or 19.00?? opens at 15.00- free entry for Thai orm ''naak rian=student''(only?-knowing the excess of young Yipun and farang oppposite) under 23. Free ''borikarn lao''=booze. Thats all what the ad says though.
well, if you cannot score there-the Saran Rom Park is very closeby-you just have to make your way via a big cluster of katoeys and then elder ladies to get there.....

1.- I've looked-at the flg. web-site for further info. -
http://www.gthai.net/mixman
- The site in in Thai and includes a map wch. I sketched and shewed to one of my Talking Boyz for his translation -
-- Taking MIXMAN as a ref. pt. -
--- The VERTICAL rd. to the RIGHT is Tnn. Ratcha Damnoeng Klang;
--- The HORIZONTAL rd. is Kok Wah;
--- The bldg. straight above MM. is SA-KE.;
--- The bldg. at the i'sect. R. Damnoeng:K. Wah is OM YIM BANK;
--- The remaining two bldgs. could not be identified positively, possibly they might be WAT MAHAM PARAM and SAN SAO POHSIA? E&OE!!
- I expect to be visiting BB. on thu., (11th.), evening and - if God and time permit - hope to carry-out a recce.

-- My Best Beloved likes going to SA-KE -
- addr.: Tnn. Rajadamnoeng Klang, Soi Yee Kapua,
Sanam Luang, (nr. to ROYAL HTL.),;
- tel.: (089)-748 0212.
- I u'stand that it's LESS of a pub. and MORE like DJ. STATION.

2.- YES - one can score in SARAN ROM PK. -
- co-ords.: roughly 100.29-43.E.x13-44-53.N.
- It is well-lit, (so few if any discreet places.), and cruisers are MORE likely to be on the maturer side.
- However, younger ones may be seen standing or sitting at the kerb-side on Tnn. Sanam Chai between the MIN.OF DEFENCE, (also alongside the MoD. along Tnn. Kanlayana Maitri.), and DOWN to SR. PK.; also along Tnn. Charoen Krung and around the TERRITORIAL DEFENCE DEPT.. But my experience has indicated that car-owners are prefered. Expect to pay 500.Bh. for svces. PLUS for the local htl..
