It may be true, but I've never heard a bar or massage boy (or bar owner) ever saying that business was great -- even in the boomiest of boom times.

-- At b'fast. this morning, (07th.), I was told by my American acquaintance that he visited BUNNY MASSAGE - Soi Twilight: off Suriwong rd. - y'day. evening around 20.hrs. and enjoyed the services of Khun KANU. His only complaint was that there was no massage-table - the mattress was on the floor; but otherwise all were fine and he hopes to return for further svces. from Khun KANU.

Actually.... it's BONNY ! (I checked the spelling on my frequent client card... after 7 visits you get 300 baht off the 8th !) .. the mattresses are not on the floor.... they're on a raised platform of highly polished timber about 30 cm above floor level. It's quite a traditional Thai setting & good in that the boy has to be on his knees either immediately along side, or astride you ...... good for contact ! :)

Quite so Sextile. ... I think I'm a "floor" man myself. After all ... if things get heated and vigourous ... you can't "fall off" the floor can you? Those narrow massage beds can be quite precarious ! :)

The New V Club
 

Sunday afternoon visited the V club in their new location, they moved in last Friday.

Only about 4 boys working, none were my style so didn't see the actual massage rooms.

Reception / guest area is in my opinion very small and i was expecting something a bit more fancy.

Room with glass walls for the working boys not all that big and dificult to see most of the boys from most of the seating for the guests.

Music is extremely loud and annoying. The whole place was often full of hot oil vapor from cooking fried rice or similar somewhere within close proximity.

Overall, quite disappointing.

Captain mentioned that the old location is being converted into a pub come restaurant with boys available.

Aqua Massage
 

Has anyone been to Aqua (Sathorn soi 9) and Albury Massage (71/1 Sukhumvit Soi 11) recently? Any observations?

Aqua's website looks half dead. Is the place likewise? As far as I can tell, Albury never got around to a website.

I go to Aqua every now and then; last time, maybe two or three weeks ago. Nothing has changed there much over the years. Still a good crop of mostly twinky, mostly gay boys.

Thanks icon513. Glad to hear that. I have always had fair to good memories of Aqua. The only problem is that it is rather out of the way, and I do want to avoid going all the way only to find it closed or derelict. I shall now put it on my "to do" list for my upcoming trip.

Within the Chakran building. walk in off the street, don't go up the stairs to the right side just afer entrance of footpath, keep to the narrrow alley on the left side and keep walking, eventually up some stairs.

Thank you all for these detailed etc reports-did not have time enough to read it all-but it was quite entertaining and informative-and makes me think my local friend of 7 years now lives up to much of this too.
Good news for the ''khee niao'' bus-users" fares come down again with 0,5 bt for the hot reds and 1 bt for all AC as per next mo=22/12. nam man thook kwa(petrol more cheap). And then there are still the FREE red buses-about half of them-usually full of short-trousered schoolboys.
My question: how do all of you find these massage-venues? there are several sites that list a lot-I think thailandscene is probably the best uptodate and extensive-and there are the free magazines (friend brings them)-with only those who pay to advertise in them. Any other sources? And the age-old wisdom also comes out here; the further away from Silom/Pratoochai-the better service and lower the price, nah?
Final: any reports about BANANA massage-in some Sukhumvit soi-quite near Hero? Ads say 2 hrs-for same price as 1(or the usual ''buy 1-get 1 free'')-and managed by a Singapore-man. Maybe I've simply over-read it-dont hesitate to point this out.
