Same masseur for both Thai and oil massage, or different masseurs? If same masseur, I would think he would be too tired to give a decent oil massage during the second hour.

Hero massage has been recommended to me as THE place to be pampered in for half a day. I'd appreciate if some of you experienced and updated guys could elaborate on the details: type of masseurs; interaction; prices; opening hours; what's to do between sessions; etc.

i believe hero opens at 3pm, never knew they have a half a day package. i guess what you can do is get a couple of 1/1.5 hour massage. they have a garden for some cuppa in between sessions.

Hero: Athletic to muscular guys (but not as steroided as Tawan's). Not for those who like twinks or fems.

Massage rooms: cramped, narrow beds. Showers the size of closets. Not for those of ample girth.

One hour massage = 600 baht.

I can't imagine spending half a day there. What's there to do after the massage? Eat in the restaurant?

Might as well go to Babylon (if you're non-East Asian) or Chakran (if you're East Asian). There's massage within Babylon and massage at V-Club adjacent to Chakran.

Chakran/ V-Club is a better choice. U could have fun with the masseurS in V-Club and enjoy the spa facitlies in Chakran. Would be nice if they let u go between these two places with just a towel. :-)

Hero is a massage place, not a spa. Chakran is a bit closer, at least it has a pool with a cafe next to it, dry/ wet steam rooms, and a gym.

...but my experience with Hero guys has always been much, much better than with those greedy V Club guys. Anyone agree?

Yes. Yes. Yes. Twice at V-club, they tried adding hidden charges to my tab.

It's not just the management, it's the boys -- some of whom obviously consider themselves to be "superstars", and expect/demand 3,000 or 4,000 baht.

I have found Hero to be the best massage facility in Bangkok by the widest possible margin.

Can anyone tell me the name of the massage place almost opposite Bonnys on Soi Twilight? Has anyone had experience of this place?

It would seem that Hero is the best place for massage+ (I DO prefer men to twinks and I'm not Asian), but there's nothing to do there to pass the time between sessions. And then there're places where I can pass some time, but they're not as inviting massage-wise.

Since I'm unfamiliar with the geography of gay sex in Bangkok, please guys - direct me to a street or close-knit area (walking distance between establishments) where I can pass the time liesurely between 12:00 and 21:00, perhaps hopping between hanky-panky bars and massage+ sessions and some kind of show or a place with spa/movies/restaurant, and restart the cycle.

Given the reputation of Bangkok and the collective experience in this forum, I'm hoping to come up with a 9 hours program.

There's two now. One is X-Boys Massage. Sometimes around 6 boys sit at the high outdoor table, mostly twinks and some not to bad looking. The other used to be called Red Massage, now Marrio or something, often just a few boys.

Reports on the facilites have been poor, massage basic and afters depends on the boy, hit or miss with more reported misses than hits. No personal experience other than chat and sitting at Dicks and watching.
