Short-Time Hotels With Gay Porn

Found myself at the Rose Inn, on Charansanitwong Road, today for an internet hook-up.

I was very surprised (and pleased) that they had a channel of gay porn running. GOOD gay porn, too: some hot Japanese stuff, followed by Euro-twink. First time I think I have ever encountered this in a Bangkok short-time hotel.

-- Refering to my trusty Bangkok City Atlas* I see that Tnn. Charan Sanitwong is quite a long rd., (maybe 6 or MORE Miles. long!), on the THON BURI side of the river; however, it does not shew the ROSE INN, that I could see.
- Whereabouts along that rd. is it?
- Dirn's. - 'bus. etc. - appreciated.

Sexy Tiler, I am guessing Icon may have been refering to the Rose Town Hotel about 200 meters inside Charan Santiwong soi 40 on the left up a sub soi. 100. 29. 5.7 and 13. 46. 27.5 for Google earth.
May I suggest, you buy Thinknet's Mapmagic Bangkok 2008 CD for Bht299 at almost any SE-ED store. Unfortunately, only the out-of-print 2002 version shows the bus routes...but still valid info..largely. If we ever meet up at the bus stop infront of Samranron Park, I will lend you my copy!

No, it's a short-time hotel called the Rose Inn. Charansanitwong Road Soi 42. I have no clue about bus routes, but this is not the kind of hotel that has too many people arriving on foot if you know what I mean.

- My not-always-reliable Bangkok 'bus. Map* shews the flg. 'buses. as being possibly helpful -

Yes, I realized Rose Town was wrong as it is multi-story and has a swimming pool! I can see what is likely Rose Inn on soi 42 on Google... But not sure why anyone else wants to go there unless they have an "internet connection" like you had

It's not too far across the bridge from Sanam Luang, so it could be an option to take a trick from there. Otherwise, you're right: it will not likely be a convenient spot for many people. I just thought it was interesting that a mainstream short time hotel would have a gay porn channel. The beginning of a trend, hopefully?

Talking of gay porn...at a bit of a stretch maybe, but has anyone noticed the ads (which I presume to be film promotions) currently at BTS stations? The pictures had me all of a tither and trying to crawl up the wall to the pictures to get a better look. They show three cute boys in bathing briefs. But if you follow the web page reference on the ad...to www.dive-movie.jp you will find some Japanese details of the movie including a high resolution screensaver. I don't have a newspaper with cinema programs available, but I am assuming/hoping it is a movie currently showing in Bangkok...at House, RCA maybe? The name of the movie appears to be Dive. It may be a good chance for all your fellows who missed seeing Asian divers in the 10 meter Olympic diving competitions on tv recently.
Does anyone know if/what cinema it is showing at?

Question The Dive

The movie 'The Dive' website listed by Yannawa certainly contains some eye candy, at least to these eyes.
Would like to view the screensaver, but cannot find it; sadly my Japanese language skills don't exist.
Could some one help out here? Many thanks.

-- Again, and while maybe not strictly germane to this topic, here's a blogspot worth looking-at for some delectable eye-candy -
