A 'different' memoir.

-- Several ex-pat. farangs have written books about their lives here in the self-styled LoS. - often involving their possibly fictional adventures and/or misadventures with the demi-mondaines in the Phat Pongs, Soi Cowboy, Pattaya and so on and so forth.

-- A book with a different slant is -
'The Rice Queen Diaries.', a memoir.
- author: R. Gawthrop;
- Arsenal pulp press, Vancouver, BC.;
- ISBN.: 9 781551 521893..
- price: USD.16.95..

-- Usual disclaimer. -- Bibi. --

for the M2M saide of life the nr of books is far lower-as you mention PPong and Cowboy-Iguess thats the M2F side?
BKK-post of about 1 week ago and linked on the sawasdee-forum announced a book/memoires of a former (Twilight, I guess) barboy- name was like bangkok boy. Was printed in Ireland of all places. Have not been in a proper bookshop here since though to check for it.
In my own language there is a live-in-Thailand/Chiang Mai writer who has done now 3 books-general travel, live in Thailand spiced up with various drawn from life episodes in the M2M sfere. 'Thailand, soft as silk'' is the translated title of his best-known. (name of author: Sjon Hauser-known as Mr. John all over Chiang mai)
