Many work visits to Shanghai, but never got to any bars which I understand are world class, however most with roaming money boys who are very definitely AYOR to downright dangerous.

However i've been to many massage venues and every visit was very enjoyable with good sex.

On Utopia you can easily find massage venues: Door Massage, and G Massage (2 locations). These are the 3 venues I now use, all are well run, clean, service oriented, etc. and you usually find at least one or two staff or masseurs in each venue who can speak ok to good English. Two years back I met one delightful 20 year old uni student (studying psychology), he came to stay with me at my hotel on several more visits, spoke perfect English, and we had some great times plus lot's of interesting discussions. He's since finished his study and gone home to Beijing.

Can I change the subject a little. I have a good local friend in my office in Shanghai who is gay. He's been telling me for the last few years that many gay men from all over China now head for both Shenzen and Quangzhou. My friend says these two cities (both in Southern part of China and not that far from Hong Kong) are the gay meccas of China, and have been for decades. Some bars in both locations, some with go go boys, and many many massage venues.

My work friend (quite a cute hunk himself) flies to both cities regularly to visit the massage venues. And he now employs one of the boys he met in Shenzen as a houseboy. He's gorgeous.

I had the website address of one of the Shenzen venues but i'm sorry to say I lost it when I had a computer crash. Had pictures of all the available masseurs, all hunks (about 30 boys), for each boy a picture in bikini then 4 or 5 nude/erect shots. Many venues offer: single masseur, 4 hands massage, 4 hands massage plus boy suck boy show and both boys suck you, and you can select 2 boys to go to a room for a private boy fuck boy show, etc. All venues also seem to have a long list of types of massage.

A good tip direct the massage boy(s) is 300 to 400 Yuan, but of course ultimately up to you.

If you want Thai food in Shanghai, then I can highly recommend 'Simply Thai'. Excellent food, excellent service, good wine list, cute waiters (but not available). They advertise in many gay publications as gay-friendly.
