Has anyone heard of, or had experience with, a rental agency called Journey CNX?

It's offering by far the best rate, even compared to the in-house referral of the Lavender Lanna.

No, but who-ever you rent from make sure you do a very thorough pre rental inspection with them and photo any damage, as on return they will look for evey new scratch and charge you for it. This seems common to all Thai rental companies, from Hertz down. I now usually pay the full insurance as I know they're going to try and ping me a couple of thousand baht anyway on return.
