Was in Yaya's on Friday evening last week. Had a truly wonderful time. The boys are all definitely NOT underage. All are very friendly, welcoming and out to see that the bar customers have a good time. YaYa's has a cocktail of the week, very reasonable drink prices, wifi, and if you feel peckish (as I did), there is a small menu from Corner Bar opposite. I had a delicious cheeseburger - one of the best anywhere in Thailand. This is one of the best little bars in Pattaya.

In Boystown last night I was thinking of making a first visit to the re-birthed (for about the 3rd time) "Happy" bar that used to be Crystal. A sign outside proclaimed "Ladies Welcome." - that was enough of a put down for me and I headed elsewhere.

-- On the flg. blogspot -
> Phuchai < the originator wrote that THREEZONE BAR - Sunee Plaza, nr. to DUC'S BAR - is his favorite bar there; -- Does anyone know if the a/m. bar still exists? -- My Enthusiastic & American Friend & I shall be going to PATTAYA in approx. one week's time, thus I'm doing some home-work afore we go: :-) |

Boy gets 1000baht and john gets free off. If you ask you can get expat discount card. |
visited pattaya last week. went to a-bomb, not much of the bigger boys there. went to boyzboyzboyz for the first show, i was amazed by how old their dancers were for the 1st show. offed a dud ;(
2nd night, i wore something comfortable - t-shirt, jeans and flip flops and the bars seems to confuse me to being thai. some even asked for my id before being allowed entry to the premises. i then realized that these bars are the ones with dancers of questionable age, so i quickly left. |
Maybe they thought you were an undercover cop !!

That\'s exactly what they thought!

-- My Enthusiastic & American Friend and I were in PATTAYA from 12th.-16th.oct.; he needed some R&R. away from the stresses & strains of his professional career;
- Apart from the 13th. the weather was mostly o\'cast. & damp - not encouraging one to go to DONGTAN BEACH, where, unsurprisingly, there weren\'t all that many beach-boys etc. hawking their svces. & wares. -- Pattaya\'s South rd. is being re-made up, thus rd.-tfc. is being re-routed on Pattaya 2nd. rd. between the South rd.:2nd. rd. i\'sect. for approx. a couple of hundred yrs. towards BOYZTOWN; a similar stretch of Beach rd. is CLOSED temporarily to rd.-tfc. also. - Rd.-tfc. to & from JOMTIEN is being re-routed, too, in the gnl. area of the Pattaya 3rd. rd. fly-over because of re-surfacing. |
wondering why there seems to be a different route that the bus use from ekkamai to pattaya vs. v.v. the trip from ekkamai to pattaya took more than 3 hours, with the bus stopping at some bus depot after the bkk sukhumvit road. then along the high way, suddenly turning right to what seems like a side road.
the trip back was high way all the way, and took only 2 hours. is there a faster way from bkk to pattaya? |
