San Suk Sauna Pattaya
 

Not sure if I have got the spelling right (may be it should be 'suck') and could not find an up to date thread on this. I went a couple of times last week in the afternoon. Admission B180. Both very hot days so everything was glowing by the time I reached the entrance a pleasant down hilll stroll from the Jomtien Beach Road (?Thepraya). I came down Soi 11 which did not have the guy with tuk tuk on it who obligingly runs you down. Mai pen rai. I do have 2 legs, after all.

Ground floor has steam room where there is action from early afternoon. I could hear the slurping. There is a pool, sauna and delightful indoor/outdoor area with restaurant sets or armchairs, take your pick. Order a drink or whatever. If you get bored go to the first floor where there is a darkened area, a couple of mazes. Well its not all that dark and there are many nice little pieces wandering looking for the big bad wolf!

The next level up and the one above are obviously for cruising later in the evening when yours truly has his face planted up the bum of some bit at Krazy Dragon or at home in bed with his hot chocolate. Either could happen but this area is definitely an after dark one.

So what happened to me. I ended up with a number who claimed to be from Cambodia. A lovely fellow. We played hide the sausage for a bit. A very pleasant experience.

All in all this is a really pleasant place. I know its a bit out of the way but it is really worth a visit!

I think it's Sannuk Sauna--there's a tour of it on youtube (with its owner, and a silly talkative farang who is obviously a paid tout). The youtube clip appears to be a commercial.

What is the general mix of patrons at this sauna establishment?

It covers the whole block between Sois 9 & 11. The courtesy tuk tuk is parked at the top of this soi, Soi 9. I walked down Soi 11 which of course looks at the backside of the middle easter whatever it is... By the way what is this?!?

As regards clientele. On the two occasions I was there, there were a reasonable number of Thai twink types, quite a few other Asians (Chinese, Japanese, Singaporeans I guess) and of course the expected potaters some more nobbly than others but of absolutely no interest to this spud!

Just to be correct, the middle eastern mansion is labelled "Cyber Research Centre" and is between soi 11 and soi 13, not soi 9. It used to be the home of Asia Rooms travel centre, but they have moved now.

Sansuk Sauna is in soi 9, Sansuk guesthouse is in Soi 11, and the tuk-tuk goes down soi 11

All sois are labelled at the top on the main rd, but not on the dogleg part.

Not quite 'out in public'! I was referring to the Steam Room. This can be accessed from either the back passage from reception on the way to the gym or from the lounge area. It is not a large steam room but the light from both doors means one end of the room is light and the other darker... Slurping has been heard coming from the dark!

What is the best time of the day to go to Sansuk for some hot action?

I am not an expert. I have been only half a dozen times all up and the last 2 times were about a fortnight ago. Generally I go in mid afternoon, about 2-3 ish and stay for a couple of hours. As you know there are much more interesting things to do in the evening in PTYA! Certainly there is action in the arvo. But you know life is what you make it....

Remember the one thing a boy can't resist is AVAILABILITY. So no matter what you are like if you happen to be there and AVAILABLE then things happen...

Experience has taught me never to expect anything to happen at predicted times.. in fact if I go specifically looking for a special encounter it inevitably ends in tears. I've found that in Bangkok, usually if I persist (stay long enough) in a place, I will suddenly (and out of nowhere) connect with a stunning person and have an absolutely wonderful experience. This does NOT happen to me much in the U.S.--so it's not just a matter of "persistence pays." It just seems to be some magical Thai thing--some collective unconscious thing.

yes, I agree. I lived in BKK for 7 yrs and stuck to a few (Male Box< Orion, Edok, Hercules) saunas. Local guys would treat you more seriously and give you some cred they thought you just weren't after a quick f.... (even if you were). They wanted to be wooed a bit, not necessarily with money.

I agree; I have had some very hot times at Sansuk. If it weren't for some of the Russian customers stinking the place up with their body odor it would almost be perfect.

At least they're not OLD!!!!

May be it is the 'Magrut' kaffir lime essence they use in the steam room. Best left in Gaeng Kio Waan IMHO

- Adm'n.: 180.Bh.;
- Maybe a dozen or so there about the time of my arrival: 3 or 4 Eastern Euro.-looking men who, I'd guess, are in their 30s. and who kept v. much to themselves; a couple of younger & Thai men; the rest being farangs of a certain age. MORE visitors started arriving after 17.hrs.;
- Not all that much activity that I could see; while not exactly 'sticky rice' it did seem as though the Thais prefered eachother's company to that of us farangs, although in Steam Room #2. I saw a gp. of four: two youngish Thais and a couple of elderly farangs form a line for fundamentally the Thais' pleasure.
- I supped at around 19.30.hrs.: a glass of red wine, beef lasagne and a cup of Lipton's tea set me back 360.Bh. - quite enough, I thought.
- By 20.hrs. many had left to go elsewhere.
- Possibly the inclement weather was a disincentive to go-out and to visit?

I agree nothing is predictable. If one wants something, he must be persistent and have an open mind. This sauna is large and the clients are mostly Thais and Russians. The last time I went, I had nothing for hours and could not attract the attention of a few gorgeous young Russians, who seemed to only mix among themselves. Then at the jacuzzi, started talking with a handsome and fair young Thai. He was friendly but did not want sex with me. Towards the end hooked up with a petit young Thai in the dark area. He was so passionate and into sucking and being fucked. He did all the work bottoming and was all worked up. Then minutes later, had a very similarly built Thai with similar passions. I double checked if he was the same person, but apparently a different one. So the evening ended with double explosions, though there was nothing for hours at first.

Certainly similar experience to me. I went 3 or 4 times earlier this month usually arriving at about 3-4ish. Usually I left early each time except one evening when I stayed until 7ish (late for me!).

Each occasion there were good contacts with good action. It had me wondering whether Khun P hires local lads to attend and they get 'brownie' points (PI) each time they score...

But surely this type of thinking is far too devious?

And then wouldn't it be boring if it was predictable?

I visited this place for the first time on Saturday last week - I thought it was great. I'm 45 and not exactly 'gym-fit' but found it easy to hook up with several cute Thai guys. Didn't see any Russians.

Has anyone stayed at the Sansuk Guesthouse lately? I heard it was being extended, and wonder if all the construction work has been completed.

Construction is finished but new rooms are not yet furnished. Old rooms 1,500.

I went to the Samsuk Sauna yesterday evening and was a little disappointed. The place is fine with the building work largely finished. What is lacking is more action in the cruising areas upstairs.
Around the pool was a few older farangs, several cuddling their Thai boyfriends on the sun beds. There was mostly no one using the large new jaccuzi.
I spent a while chatting to another guest until it got dark, and then both of us decided to go upstairs hoping for sex and fun. However there was no action that I could see, so at about 8.30 I got dressed, left the building and used the complementary tuk tuk to get to the main road, where I got a motor bike taxi back to my hotel.

First rule: fuck first, chitchat later. Everyone had given up waiting for you.
