C F S made easier

Sorry for using FULLY ERECT CAPS but this story from The Nation looks interesting and should make our jobs interesting too...

Thai version of 'Viagra' to be launched next month

BANGKOK: -- The Government Pharmaceutical Organisation will launch its erectile dysfunction drug "Sidagra" on October 15 at a fraction of the price of Viagra.

The treatment for the men's disorder has already been registered with the Food and Drug Administration.

Viagra sells for about Bt200 per tablet but Sidagra will cost only Bt25 per 50-milligram tablet and Bt45 per 100mg dose, (my colour & bold) Dr Witit Artavatkul, managing director of the GPO, said yesterday.

-- As I u'stand. the matter Pfizer's original patent was scheduled to expire in Mar. 2012.; but Pfizer appealed, citing that Viagra is embodied in other medications that are u'going. furtherv research and therefore the patent should be extended. The US. Court found in Pfizer's favor and extended the USofA. patent until 2020.

-- But why not avail of search-engine Google! and enter: > Viagra Patent Expires, Goes Generic | What Will Happen To Viagra <

-- As for patent expirations here in the LoS. ... ?

No doubt about that! Or some Thai student who studied MARKETING thought it was a clever name.

From what I read, you will still need a doctor's prescription to get this stuff. But then again, this is Thailand ...
