A local friend told me that there's a new trend popping up of internet cafes operating as a front for gay sex, especially in areas around universities (specifically Ramkhamhaeng) where there are a lot of horny but impecunious young guys around.

According to him, they are internet cafes -- the kind where you can surf the web for 10 baht or whatever -- except that they have little individual cabins that offer some modicum of privacy -- and they are used for cruising and sex.

Has anyone heard of this?
