Also, I was told that over the river in Tak Sin soi 4 there is a gay internet café with a bit more than internet. However, soi 4 is long.

I think MixMan is gone, if that's the one I'm thinking of near Sake.

Absolute sauna closed as is Bangkok 10. Bangkok 10 has a sign saying thanks to customers and that they will renovate and open next year. Renovate usually means close. Clients will probably go to Heaven where I went last night and had a good time.

soi 46 Ramkhamhaeng is very long, being an up market soi full of large homes and a few cute cafes. I found number 24 and Zuga sauna is closed. I notice that any link on net is old and doesn't work.

Which of the saunas keep open all through the night?

Re all night: AFAIK there is noone certain open all night/every night: IF at all, it will be weekends (fr/sat/maybe sun) and the Thai always says ''till last customer gone''--which may well be by 1 or 2 am.
Farose 1+2 and 39 have that in their ads. Farose 1+22 are both noted for late nite escapes, people coming in in their street clothes and dirty. There may be others, I think that new R3 says its open continuous 24/7, but not sure.

Just when I'm ready to give up on Babylon, I had a great time there yesterday.
First of all, for 230 baht the gym is actually a decent gym. So I used that for an hour, then sat by the pool for 40 minutes. Staff was attentive and friendly. Met an older Cuban guy and we talked about my trip there 20 years ago.
Went off look around and started in the steam room. In the next 2 hours I played with three Thai guys who were very friendly, passionate, and (especially the second one) incredibly hot. Muscles upon muscles.... Around 25 yo.
Crowd on a Tuesday from 4-9 pm was around 50% farang, which isn't optimal but anyway I guess I'm back as a fan. If you're just going for sex I'm not sure it's worth the extra money and time, but as a leisurely afternoon/ evening it was great!

Anyone been to Sauna Mania recently? I think I'll go tomorrow late afternoon, it's naked night and I've read that's the one night it's reasonably busy.....
Otherwise could make the trek out to R3 or Deja Vu, but on a short visit so hoping to stay closer to central.

First visit ever to Sauna Mania on Thursday. I read a few places mentioned naked nights are the best times to go; I agree!
Arrived later than planned, around 745pm, and there were at least 60 guys there. Probably saw over 100 during the 2 hours I was there.
I was the only farang (at least the only white one!) and found plenty of guys to play with. I had fun with 4 guys, all younger than me (46) and also could have had more but a few were bottoms, same as me....
Anyway it was much better than expected -- while some of the complaints seem valid, that this is the same owner as the fancy R3 sauna, so why isn't it fancy? But I have to say, the crowd was definitely there for sex, and I had no difficulty playing 🙊
I left around 945pm and it was still busy.
Check their web site for calendar, but I think Thursday's are usually naked night.

Happened to drive by Cruising II today (the former Sukhothai Sauna, on Sukhothai Road) and noticed that it has been renamed "Out".

Not sure if there are any changes other than the name.

Fab/Bangkok 10 in Surawong has had a renovations notice for more than 10 weeks in the window. Sukhothai/Out/Cruising 2 in darkness for more than a month.

MACHO is now Macho-X and has moved to soi beside PATA dept store, thus a little closer to centre town, its on the McDon side. In the old place it mainly got bad reviews.

last night at Freeman only 5 customers until 2am and then they seemed to be couples departing from NYE discos. 109 baht for THai and 159 for farang (not displayed). My THai BF tried to explain to the desk boy that suck pricing was looked down upon overseas but he was Barmeses and could not get the point. Lighting is worse than before and could not find any condoms. Heaven is soooo much better. Owner must have more money than sense.
