I guess everyone's back from the Christmas holiday because response time on CFS is back to being extremely slow again. The past week, it was pretty snappy. Today, it's taking an average of 2-3 minutes (in some cases, much longer) for pages to come up, or to just navigate backward. I know it's not my computers, internal network, or DSL connection because I don't have this problem with any other sites (smut or otherwise).

Is it a platform issue? Is it something we can help with, like optimizing the page setup code?

You are correct that the message board is loading very slow today. Not sure what is going on. The server that houses the booard and other things like the 'links' and 'cruiser gallery' is really clogged up. Other sections of the site on other servers are doing well. We did some tinkering about 2 weeks back that really improved things, and I actually believe the issue today is some sort of minor, though frustrating, glitch. We've got tech people looking into it right now.
