Oops - sorry about that.
As I wrote, I was at the Pattaya Nobody just before Thanksgiving and that was the Bangkok address on the business card. Since the manager encouraged me to visit their Bangkok location, I guess it was open at that point in time - or he was unaware of any problem. Have any locals tried calling the phone number?

Nobody was closed at 9pm tonight and no sign up...seems to have gone...but don't understand why..it was part of a chain and quite well patronized and managed..before the skitish period.

I believe that Nobody found itself on the wrong side of Soi Asoke -- in Thonglor police district rather than Lumpinee (where Nice Guys, Albury, and Hero are -- not to mention those straight dens of iniquity Nana Plaza and Clinton Plaza).

I understand that the Thonglor police have been much tougher on sex-oriented establishments in their area (i.e., Nobody, Obelisks, Colony, Studio 982, Orgasm 49, Turning Point) -- trying to keep the filth West of Asoke and out of the high class residential areas of upper Sukhumvit.

Turning Point continues to operate, but in a toned-down format in a smaller location upstairs from the old place. There is no sign out and the door is in an alley -- almost feels like a speakeasy!

All of their "boys" are now disguised as waiters -- in waiters' uniforms complete with aprons! They are also down from 40 or 50 boys to a new low of around 10 to 15. Colony, Obelisks, and Orgasm 49 (and, apparently, Nobody) are now history.

I'm not sure about Studio 982, but I understand they are in the process of moving locations.

Yes, thanks, that district concept seems to be the answer. But I think 982 screwed itself with it's attitude problem.."why are we charging twice the off fee of other bars?...Just look at the quality we have"!

I've been a frequent customer of 982 over the years and never found their "off" fee to be more than anywhere else. If I recall correctly, it was always 200 or 300 baht. Maybe they try to screw non-regular customers out of more?

Too bad about Banana. I was there once, and enjoyed it. Recuited mostly guys new to massage, so they didn't have the public relations part down. Many looked grim, but were only shy, and were sweet, pleasing, and more than warm once recruited. That's one factor a new visitor to Thailand might take into account.

Personally, HIS seems on the skids. Had my second, and last massage there two weeks ago. Wanted to be fair, so I made a return trip.

Albury has never disappointed, though I'm not particularly into muscle.

I hope "Nobody" finds another place and open soon. It is one of my favorite places and I like the intimate atmosphere. I dislike the boys-behind-the-glass concept at Albury and Hero.

Humble apologies to all..I fell into the trap of not verifying completely, based upon laziness:

NoBody is wide awake and open at the Glas House at 3pm Saturday December 15. The other night i went down the steps and looked along the passage and saw no lights or signs. Today, I went all the way into the passage and saw only Foot massage and dentist signs, but the glass doors are still NoBody but only a very small sign on the glass door and dim lights. But inside, it's bright, happy and cheerful and quite a few slim, young, happy boys, even at 3pm. Tey close at 11pm. Take care and enjoy...sorry about the misinformation before.

Just also passed Banana at around 2pm and doesn't look closed..infact, the doors were open and a couple of tinted/spiky kids were swilling out the interior, so think it's still in business...but like NoBody, no signs.
