Now I want to go to The Beach, the excellent directions posting just a few days ago has gone missing! Or, at least i can't find it and it's not in Cupidman's webpage.Forgot who wrote hte directions but included vital info like "3rd 7-Eleven" and the klong bridge and Esso station and pedestrian crossing sign and mosque...Please post again or tell me where to find. Why would it go missing?

I hope I am early enough for you.
If you are going up Soi 71 from Sukhimvit Road, go until you see the mosque on the right side of the road. Just past it is a 7-11. A few hundred meters further on on the right is another 7-11. The road to the Beach is immediately past this second 7-11. If you are coming down Soi 71 from the Phetburi Raoad junction, go over the hump bridge over the canal and look out for the Esso station on the left. A couple of hundred meters or so further on is a pedestrian crossing marked with lines on the road, and a blue and white gantry sign overhead. This is right by the entrance to the road to the Beach. Midas, yes, you are the one! Thanks a lot. Those types of direction are so much easier than a bunch of names that many people spell and pronounce differently. I hope Cupidman will now add Beach and your directions to his web page. Thanks.

OK, I've finally made it down to soi 71 and taken a few pictures for The Beach. Check out this site if you're headed down there. It was closed (as expected) when I was there mid-day. I'm not sure what the regular hours are. http://communities.msn.com/cruisingf.../thebeach.msnw

The Beach is open from 3pm till 6am, but gets hot after 10pm. Cupid's photos are very helpful. Also on the Beach web page, http://www.thebeachbkk.com under sub-section "Contact Us", you will see an isometric, amazing map destined to confuse...indicates the Beach is on a bit of dual carriage way!
