As this is in a hotel it feels secure and does not feel shady like a few others I saw, also, it feels very comfortable with doors that lock.

For me, a 1000 Baht tip is the maximum I would pay at the Ambassador. The price varies, but I am told by the guys that it is usually between 500 and 1000. Anything above Baht 1000, in my opinion, might be a little on the high side.
