New to Cruising

I'm new to the cruising thing and I would like some help. I followed the postings on the site and went to the downtown dc macys,. There was a guy in one of the stalls, but i didnt get in the stall next to him, and was too nervous to change stalls, and left. I was wondering what I should do/look for. I plan on going back to the macys and the MLK library soon.

okclay1,
Why don't you start out cruising in a little more target friendly area. Go to one of the ABS's listed in Sex Listings where you are more certain they guy in the booth next to you is interested in sex. Then you only have to determine whether or not you like each others looks/cocks etc.
Once you learn a little more about body language and foot tapping you can move on to sex in a public bathroom.

I agree with Royal here...My advice is DO NOT go cruising at such public places like Macys..Ugh...There are plenty of nice ABSs around where it`s obvious what is going on (Especially those with gloryholes) that it isn`t necessary to have to risk things in such mainline places.

I agree with the others. Cruising tea rooms has become quite risky since I was getting into the swing of things 40 years ago. It's all too easy to run into trouble. If you can take a spin, go check out an ABS. If you would rather find action in town, it's generally easy to score some private ******-and-go action. You can also drop in the Crew Club on 14th, or check out the Washington Blade for the Men's Party and hit there sometime.
