I've read these posts with consideable interest and I appreciate the sincerity expressed in all the posts. I have a question for all of you, has anyone aware of whether psoriasis is communicable? About 20 years ago I developed an awful rash on the head of my dick. This was when herpes was the STD of fashion and one doctor I went to diagnosed it as such. His medication did nothing and the rash got worse. A skin specialist took one look at it and diagnosed it as psoriasis, prescribed some cortesone and it was gone in 10 days. I sometimes have dry skin patches re-occuring but everything clears up with a little dab of cortesone. My current skin specialist says it's more common than I might think. I sometimes wonder if I contracted it during oral sex and if I might pass it along during oral sex. My doctor says no. Is anyone else familiar with this?
