Corey hit the nail on the head here. Especially when it comes to the age of the internet, fuck, even back to the phone lines, there seemed to be a consensus that 7 inches was the norm which made guys who are average for "real", about 5.5 to 6.5, give the 7 inches reply when asked how hung.
So, now that we've made it completely shaming for guys to say 5.5, 6, or 6.5, which for me anyway, does the job, they claim 7. Then, like Corey states, guys that really are 7, show up, see someone smaller who's supposedly 7 and the next guy that asks them, the answer is now 8.
This is an interesting phenomenom to me. I've never understood the "size queen" mentality, but that could be because on the scale of what turns me on about a guy, the dick is about fourth on the list. I have plenty of buddies though that are all about the big dick, so I understand it IS a priority for a lot of guys.
What also perpetuates this cycle is the typical exchange that happens on line:
Where at?
Into?
How hung?
Because internet cruising can make one so "programmed" so to speak, the "How hung" question is asked, even when the one asking doesn't really care and the 7 answer is given more times than not, since in reality, most guys are average, which is 5.5 to 6.5, according to most "theories" on this that I've read.
