tawan has been charging 400bht since last year. is this your first time to off in tawan? it is one of the bars aside from those in the bbb group that charges 400bht off fee since last year.
it depends on the boy you off. some are pretty traditional and give you a wai when you leave or when you call them to sit with you. some men even touches the bell on their way out, for luck. but some are westernized so no wai acknowledgement unless they know you already. i know the wait staff does not wai. but there was a german speaking wait staff that does, a bit effem, a great translator for the german speaking folks, but did not find him the last time i was there.
