Sheraton Ok - well certainly if you have a suite

Marriot - erratic joiners fees c 400 baht

Most of the big 4* hotels Royal Cliff, Dusit, Amari etc charge joiners

Most of the smaller places don't.

Funnily in Bangkok the situation is mostly reversed
