An announcement in today's, (wed.), 'BKK. Post.' from the Dep. PM. for Social Affairs is that this year Songkran will run from 13th. to 17th. april inclusive, (5 days.), so as to give everyone a full opportunity to enjoy the festivities.
Employers have been advised to heed the fact that mon. & tue. will be holidays and that those working on those days must be paid their due salaries/wages, or else they will face fines etc..
