I only have another half score experience but I can recall women coming in to Twilight during all that time (although not sure about other bars). True, they used to sit more on the benches at the back rather than joining us lechers by the bar. But they were definitely there (and most were not ladyboys).

This is definitely true nowadays. Japanese women have a fascination with well-endowed Thai guys and are happy to lash out a fortune in Baht for a week of fun. After all, in Japan just one night with a young host from a trendy ladies club will cost them well over US$500 PLUS tip!
