That is a matter of opinion. Since you are paying for both their time and their services I agree that a small tip for time spent that doesn't result in services is appropriate. However a gogo boy is no different to a consultant or a teacher or an engineer or anyone else in a service industry; they sell their services, whether you want to call them "wares" or something else. The online dictionaries describe "wares" as "An immaterial asset or benefit, such as a service or personal accomplishment, regarded as an article of commerce". I can't think of a better description of a gogo boy's activities.
