You seem to wobble back & forth between the boys and their activities. They may provide a service, which could be described as a ware, but they are not wares. I can understand your desire to dehumanize them so that you can make some futile attempt to think you are somehow better than they are. You're not.

If that were true, then they would be entitled to contractual agreements, fees for time spent in consultancy, negotiated pay and not subject to being called over by some two-bit shop clerk on his first holiday in five years who thinks he's in some way superior to the person he's summoning.
In this case of course it has little to do with what the boy is entitled to or what the customer is obliged to do. It's mostly an issue of how pompous and cheap the sex tourist is.
Assuming you regard the boy as someone due a certain amount of respect, the same respect you would accord anyone with whom you might do "business," then calling him over to sit with you should result in the offer of a drink and/or a tip for his time, out of courtesy, especially if he spends some time with you without being offed. But then this again reflects on the background of the "customer" more than any obligation to compensate him for his time.
I realize there are people whose concept of self is so tenuous that they have to bolster if by debasing people they would love to think of as inferior to themselves and that this cavalier treatment of gogo boys serves to feed their starving egos, but it is they who demonstrate their poor upbringing and lower social standing in the process.
These "boys" are human beings, not things. You are visiting these bars looking for sex. That means you are doing something most people would consider sleazy. You are not one of the lesser royals seeking to engage a scullery maid. If you have any genuine self-respect acquired through a proper upbringing, you'll treat everyone with whom you deal... whether shop clerks, taxi drivers, gogo boys, waiters ... with respect as a reflection of who you are, and not in an attempt to pretend you're queen for a day bestowing trinkets on your grateful, groveling subjects.
