biggles69, I've discussed this some with a Chinese-American gay friend -- the fact that it seems many white, gay men in the West are drawn to Asian guys and also seemingly these white guys are more appreciated by the Asian men. He is uncomfortable with this whole 'arrangement' because he feels the white guys would not be into Asian men were it not for the fact that more often than not, young white guys are not nearly as attracted to these older white guys, while younger Asian men appear to be very much into older white guys.
I say attraction is attraction and ethnic and racial issues should not be a big deal when it comes to whom I sleep with. Leave your PC policing at the door of the baths, in other words. But for whatever reason, it makes him uncomfortable whenever he meets an older, and often rather rotund, white guy traipsing around with some really hot, normally very young and beautiful Asian man. Maybe he is just jealous? I don't know, honestly. It is a complexity that deserves some serious academic study in my opinion.
