This is such an old-fashioned point of view. asians are not anymore attracted to 'older' men than caucasians. in bkk, this so glaringly obvious that one has to be blind (or stay put on the second floor of DJ) not to notice it. u don't need to go very far to see it, just cross Silom Rd and enter Sauna Mania to experience 'asian love for older white guys'. to kill the suspense: u'll find little love. during my last visit to bkk, i saw visibly aged guys cruising saunas, cinemas, etc, with very little success. they're just not in demand.

A relevant anecdote from Taipei: in a gay gym, having been approached by twinky young local boys and trying to get rid of them, i told them to approach another white guy (the only other white guy in that place at that time). in response, i heard 'oh no, he's too old'. the guy was maybe in his mid-to-late 30s and wasn't fat or balding or graying or hairy.
