Arrived yesterday at SWPHM. At midday there were 100's waiting in multiple queues with 1 officer at the end of each processing. Waited 30+ minutes. Longest can remember
Trip to hotel shows the barriers up North are preventing water from getting to the CBD tourism area. Apart from a few rows of sandbags and cars parked no evidence of the flood.
Hotel full apparently with Thais who are displaced. And therefore I got an upgrade...

Last night at Balcony a tuk arrived with many dozens of the Chang 12 large size cans (or tins).
Patpong seems busy. Folk were expectng the big one as many shops have concrete walls about a metre high with styles for climbing made from sandbags.
So largely unchanged as far as I can see so far
