-- Desperate times call for desperate measures! (unattrib.,1964.-OED.);
- But, Khun Biggles, just a slight & possibly pedantic niggle: Sir Thomas, being a Scot, doubtless would have prefered the word 'tins.'!

Being an Aussie - "tinnies" is a sacred term for those metal containers dedicated to the amber brew. Could not possibly apply to non alcoholic beverage!

Drinking/potable water supplies ...

-- Today, 16 nov., and in the early a'noon. I passed-by #315. - Si Lom rd. - v. roughly opp. to BKK. XTN. HOSP. - and saw a large & 10-wheeled lorry fully laden with 'Chang.' 12 bottle-packs of drinking water; the accompanying & Chang sales'-staff were doing a brisk business.

Arrived yesterday at SWPHM. At midday there were 100's waiting in multiple queues with 1 officer at the end of each processing. Waited 30+ minutes. Longest can remember

Trip to hotel shows the barriers up North are preventing water from getting to the CBD tourism area. Apart from a few rows of sandbags and cars parked no evidence of the flood.

Hotel full apparently with Thais who are displaced. And therefore I got an upgrade...

Last night at Balcony a tuk arrived with many dozens of the Chang 12 large size cans (or tins).

Patpong seems busy. Folk were expectng the big one as many shops have concrete walls about a metre high with styles for climbing made from sandbags.

So largely unchanged as far as I can see so far

Condensed milk ...

-- While most shelves are becoming re-stocked I've noticed a lack of canned/tinned & condensed milk;
- Today, 05 december - HM. the King's birthday & Fathers' day - I took a walk around in the Si Lom & Suriwong roads' areas and saw no condensed milk on any shelves: TOPS in SILOM COMPLEX, the large 7/11. at the tee-junction of Si Lom & Convent rds. and various other FAMILY MARTS and 7/11s.. I spoke with a couple of side-walk & coffee-stalls' owners, both replied that they are relying-on stocks of tins purchased previously.

At least it's not as off-the-wall as your (now deleted) post regarding your masseur's infected penis. A very clear case of "TMI".

Well, the title of that post sounded promising, so I was rather disappointed that the title was still there, but the article was gone.

O.M.G. ! I had such fun there. 5 years ago it was one of the sluttiest, most fun dives in town. If I decided to off a boy, I usually finsihed up with at least 2 !
The world is changing, and it aint for the better !
