I must be about the perfect demographic for enjoying what Tawan has to offer..
I prefer 'chunky' guys with muscle (ie rugby style) rather than bodybuilding phyique.
I could be perfectly happy with someone pushing 40.
I also sort of like the way they wander around, and wander on stage. I know this is undisiplined compared to other bars, but I think the guys are disiplined in other ways; I have never seen any guy roll his eyes at the sight of a customer. They can be cool and aloof if they want, but never rude, and always professional.
I don't like the 'chuck-wow' part of the show. I irritates me they wear masks and I hate the embarassing asking for 100B notes.
I don't like the songs or dancing; but I DO like the sucking when it is guy sucking guy, (not lady boy sucking) and I like the big cock show.

So what Tawan is doing suits me fine. But having said that, I have been going to bars for over 15 yrs and I really don't(or rarely) get turned on by the shows anywhere anymore.

I remember the first time I watched shows at Barbiery Bar and Tawan and I couldn't breath....The things I saw for the first time burnt into my retina and memory for many, many private replays in the privacy of my own bathroom.

But now I view the shows with eyes as glazed as a Christmas ham. It is not necessarily the shows, its me. I've seen it all before.

A Malasian friend of mine was there at Tawan for the 1st time during Songkran this year and he had the same first reaction I did 15 yrs ago. It blew his mind.

Tawan is like most bars; it works on two levels: one is mind-blowing one-off 1st time experience; and the second is a place a customer feels comfortable in and returns as a regular gradually getting to know some of the staff more as friends.

Now when I go to Tawan there are about 5 or 6 of the guys I chat and joke with (Including the wait staff) and I regullarly off 2 of the guys. (One I have offed regularly for 2 yrs and the sex gets better and better). I would rather go early on a week night when no one is there, have a drink and a laugh with some of the staff, and then leave with one of my regulars just as the show starts.

It suits me fine and seems to suit the guys at Tawan.

Each to their own. We are all responsible for our own happiness. And I wish you all... a penis.
