MENS RESORT & SPA - Siem Reap



This place is fabulous. Doubles as a hotel. Beautifully finished. Ground floor has a large pool, outdoor bar, palatial seating, eatery. At the far end is sauna, steam, spa and cruisatorium with cubicles. Visted a few times while I was there. Floors above have accommodation, gym etc. $US7 to get in. Prices on foodstuffs reasonable. Nice staff twinky types.

A varied clientele, OF's mostly staying inhouse but also visitors, lots of average locals of varying ages. Fun to be had and was had in the cruising areas. The only problem is the whole crusing area is concrete/tile ( a carpark comes to mind) and so is perilously dangerous. Slip and ya dead... doesn't matter how old/young you are.

Sauna is the size of about 6 telephone boxes (remember those?) which is not always a disadvantage. The Steam has been built by some crazy nut. There isn't a straight (PI) wall in it so again creep with caution. Apart from that the place is a definite must.

Getting there is interesting. It is not that far from the centre. The road is a bit like being on a bucking bronco but relax because chances are you will have more fun at Mens than on the Tuk Tuk ride in. By the way Tuk Tuk's are much more comfortable that those from LOS/ that wouldn't be difficult. You can actually sit up right etc. etc. By the way what silly queen prints her calling card in pastel grey print and background in a country where all light bulbs are of the faded pale yellow variety to save power! Most TT drivers couldn't read it for love nor $!!

Anyway most of the drivers knew exactly where it was and there are cluster hanging around outside to take you when you are exhausted...

Don't believe a word of it. Utopia-Asia correctly lists it as opening at 3pm. As I arrived at 2pm it was on to the next one...

Fortunately it was a bright sunny day so their dark card could easily be read by elderly clientele and TT drivers.

This place has a pool, small spa, Steam room, sauna on the ground floor. The one floor above has a cruising area, with showers that have padded benches (!), a TV area with internet. Don't bother with the TV if you can't speak Cambodian and the best internet is occupied by the 20 something ditzy staff... The bar is a non-alco one as usual.

All ages are cruising. Yours truly was offered a 1 hour massage by another patron for $US15... Offer declined. Generally fairly clean. The upstairs cruising area has ivory board walls so is smooth and fresh looking. Left at 5pm but could be fun later I am sure.

This one is quite large and dingy. Reminded me of saunas of old in the West. Of course at night that is not going to matter too much. Perilously slippery. Saw a couple of young twinky types slip! Mainly YTT on this afternoon with a few muscular boys wandering imperiously around... The reception is like a garage. $US4 to get in. When you go thru the door into the main downstairs area the Sauna is on the left and you can walk up a bit to the Steam which has a couple of doors. As I said slipperrrry. Follow the path round and up to the first floor which has a TV room and gym and cruisatorium. Most of the action seems to occur here. On the top floor is a 'restaurant' so called but saw not evidence of food and the 'bar' had water and a softdrink... I could have murdered for a beer. The lockers are also here and both the locker room and restaurant open on to a verandah which gives you a bit of a view over the street and the houses on the other side. This has potential and may be used as the evening wears on.

Just note about all these places. Everywhere at Mens (Post above) are signs stating that prostitution is illegal etc. etc. and everyone warns about security of lockers at all these places. It is best to bring your own lock to supplement their door lock and padlock (if you are lucky). Preferably leave vaulables behind.

As I said the cruisatorium is the busiest area at least on this day. I was ushered into a room by a 20 something twink and great fun was had by all (actually both, as there were only the two of us LOL). He was as skinny as, as they say... with a thick piece that was put to good use. There were other offers but I had business to conduct elsewhere. This place could be fun and is clearly fairly popular.

In Phnom Penh you can find Om Massage... They have several young men doing the massage. Some of the boys give a little extra.

Hi! On my last visit I noticed that there are several new masseurs at OM massage. One masseur was not interested in doing something extra. The day after, another one was happy to give a BJ... I don't know their names. It's hit and miss...
