I saw an ad for a new spa in downtown SB called "Total Body Therapy Spa" located @ 808 North Arrowhead Avenue.
It has a jacuzzi, suana, steam room, gym, tanning bed, game room with pool table, tv room, play area, video rooms, lockers and a snack bar.


Has anyone checked this place out?

I went to check it out, got in the front door and thats as far as I got. Was told there were people in there and I wasnt allowed to view it unless it was empty, was told to come back. Guess what? Never went back. What a stupid rule! Are you suppose to keep going back until you get lucky and find the place empty. Besides checking out the place I want to see who is hanging out in there, not gonna join if a bunch of dirt bags are in there.

Has anybody been inside this place? Do they just have lockers or rooms also? when are they open?

It sure would be nice if there were one out here and we didn't have to go into La to slammer club...well ther is nothing wrong with slammer, but it would be nice to have someplace local. How much does it cost to go in? no one is going to let you in for a free look.:o

Since my last posting I have spoke to someone who got in and looked and didnt join. Said it was way too expensive for this area and wasnt all that great. Its $40 to join and when you join you get a free locker which cost $16 thereafter. If you want a room with twin bed its $45 and room with double bed is $55 rooms have TVs with pornos. Its not a "bathhouse" but a total body spa.

I'm not sure what the difference between a total body spa and a bathhouse is. Do any women belong to this total body spa, or is it for men only? If it is for men only, it sounds exactly like a bathhouse although you might not get someone to say that. I suspect time will tell. Price is bathhouse prices......Remember some of the most sexually active places in other countries are spas and pools that specialize only for men.And rooms with porno....oh please it's intended to be for sex. Lets hope people start going. As I recall slammer is about $20 each time:o

we went yesturday (wednesday) and it was hot. there were a few guys there... keeping in mind it's still new and not alot of guys know about it.

but they have an ad in the desert daily guide so it'll pickup very qucikly.

btw the day passes are $20 and they gave us a room instead of a locker...

the owners/guys at the front are very nice and cool with letting you go in/out of the place. it's not stuck up like the la bathhouses.

they even said we could come back later that night. so the 12 hours is true.

the video room is fun as well as the gloryhole booths/ jacuzi and the sauna.

it has eveything that hollywood spa has but on a smaller scale.

they are open 24 hours from wednesday daytime till sunday (monday) 1am.

btw right now they are only open wed-sun 24 hours. closed mon & tuesday.

a day pass is $20 and that goes for 12 hours. they allow in-out privileges and are flex able on the lockers/room rentals. we went yesterday and met a few guys and played in the video room.

Actualy a pretty nice place, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

A decent size place, the spa, steam room and dry sauna.

I got a locker, be sure to bring yoru own lock, don't think they have many to share.

Jumped in the spa first thing and alked to some georgous bear/daddy type. Just talked no action but I wouldn't have said no :)

There were only maybe 4 guys there when I visited but I am sure once word spreads it will be packed.

Hung out for a while in the play room, had videos playing and a few places to get to know others if you want.

I am surprised to hear that... You have to be 21 to buy alcohol in this state, but at 18 you can get married, buy a house, go to war, even go to the nudie bar as long as they don't serve alcohol. This must be their policy, because it sure can't be the law.

I was just there on Sunday about 6:00 I was pressed for time that day and only staying an hour but I would have LOVED to stay LONGER!! To answer some of your questions:
1. No..its NOT EXPENSIVE. Its only $20.00 each time. But if you do the $40 memebership its like half price when you go back again.
2. It is like a bathhouse...BUT SO MUCH MORE!! And YES its for MEN ONLY! The place is VERY CLEAN! The cleanest I've ever seen for this kind of club. They have ALOT of areas to kick back game room, fitness area, etc. Also the rooms are IMMACULATE! You have everything there so the cost is worth every penny! Theres steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, porno room where you can watch porno movies and do whatever in a group setting. Theres music playing...but its not too loud and obnoxious so if you wanted to just kick back and relax you could do that too.
3. THE GUYS:
From what I could see they were mostly all descent and clean looking guys. Some HOTTIES sprinkled around here and there but as word catches on there will be more and more hotties going there. As this is a fairly new club.
Again..I dont think you will be dissapointed. It is a VERY VERY nice set-up. Very comfortable...totally nice atmosphere and the staff is very nice. Also they allow you to go in and out of the club if you like. I think the fee is good for over 12 hours?

I checked it out Sunday eve and it is a great place, the staff could not be any more freindly and helpful, the whole place is spotless and NOT smelly. You can really relax here, its a bad part of town
(not that S.B. has a good part), but there is fenced private parking, well lit, so I felt very safe, all rooms are well thought out and fun. Located in a crummy area, I have driven by there on a fri & sat circa midnight, the parking lot was practically empty!!! The owners should reduce the admission until the place establishes a loyal clientele base.

On the contrary cockboy has NO financial interests in this establishment. As with many men in the surrounding areas we have been waiting a VERY LONG TIME for this type of place to come into our neighborhood. The cost is only secondary when considering all of the amenities which are included.
You happened to go by the club at a slow time. And eventually it will get busy as they get more established and more guys find out about it. As the gas prices continue to rise...overall its still the best deal and closer to home for guys that live nearby. L.A. has dominated the gay scene for years...now its OUR TURN. ;-)

That was my problem when I went I was told I couldnt see the place unless it was empty, now how are they going to get any business if you cant see the place only when its empty. I could care less about the spa, jacuzzi, or anything else they are offering I would go for the sex and the men who are members there. If I cant see who is there why I should I join. I'm not joining until I know the type of clientele the cater too. Besides I prefer the pass, I have no problem having sex with anyone there. I'm not looking to fall in love, just plain ole sex.

I live in Fallbrook so I go to the bath houses in San Diego ( two of which are great one a little shaky that being Club 2000 ( The place is a little funky, I always bring my own towel and sheets ) But the one good thing they do is discount days I think Tuesday is Half Price so you can get a room with a TV fri $18.00 they also have half off for military ( there is nothing like a saunna filled with hot horny marines and sailors!) anyway if they had a discounts I could go north instead of south!

They open Wednesday afternoon around 4:00PM then are open 24 hours till around 1:00AM Monday.
