Steam has closed and, according to one of the guys who works (or worked) there, they will not be re-opening. He suspects it is a financial issue rather than any type of legal or code issue. But that's all he knows and he's not too happy with it either.
And no, Eros is not open either. Don't get your hopes up on that re-opening, ever. So .... what are our options now?

I for one never went to the new Steam. It's in the same GUARD YOUR LIFE and WATCH YOUR CAR industrial area as the old Steam.
Eros had a much better location. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. So much for "if you build it they will cum." Maybe "if you build it in the RIGHT LOCATION then they will cum."

I frequented the new Steam many times. i was going to be there this Friday and Saturday night. Great place. I was there when the few of us went.
So there is no place in Atlanta for us to play ? I'm sorry but Flex is just - well - fungal. Troff is just once a month. I guess i just have to start making my own party. Everyone's invited!!!!

Guys, honestly, Flex is not that bad since they finally finished remodeling. It had been over a year since I went back, and I was actually impressed. Now it's no Ritz Carlton, (it is a bath-house) but it does seem cleaner, and the new steamroom and large two room sauna is much nicer.
It would be better if guys would go and play more rather than sit in the lobby and watch TV, or stand around talking loud about their weekend. You can do that a lot cheaper at home. If you haven't been in a while, it might be worth your while to check it out. ....and before you start, I'm just a paying customer with no affiliation. Honestly I would rather go to Steam or Eros, or another Meet Company, but those are in the past now and we have to make do with what we have I guess.
