7th & Cypress

Hey all you street hustlers, drug dealers and cruisers who hang out/drive by in the area bordered by 8th, 7th, Cypress and West Peachtree.
If you didn't know, there is a high resolution police security camera in place at the corner of 8th and West Peachtree and another one at 8th and Cypress. And anyday now, there's going to be one looking straight down on 7th and Cypress. It'll catch all of you hanging out/flashing/driving by/whatever else you all do at that intersection and can also see up and down 7th and north and south along Cypress. You all might want to start looking for another place to hang out or take your chances of getting caught on camera. And ditto for all you fellas who drive by and stop to talk to these guys on the street.

I guess they didn't get the memo..............guys quit cruising this area about 1995. Why are you still going there?

I almost awnsered this one but didnt. You had to know what the area was like before you moved there. Click your heels 3 times Dorothy and fly away!!!

--maybe you live in this area? i doubt it, because everyone in the 7th/8th/cypress/west peachtree/spring/peachtree place talk about that fact the guys are still out anytime from 4pm until 8am. and that's even on freezing cold nights. and lots of men drive by throughout the wee hours of the morning cruising the guys on the street. some even cruise by several times during daylight hours (early morning or late afternoon) and on weekends. of course, apd and midtown blue police also try to cruise through on a regular basis. as for your remark--why are you still going there?... i'm not sure i understand how you reached another odd conclusion or assumption. anyway, at least word is getting out that more people are fed up by the guys on the street (yes--i'm aware it's been going on for decades but times change and the guys gotta go!)... so, do whatever... if you dare.
you'll be caught on high def surveillance cams. several already up and they catch everything in glaring detail ... and yes, even at night.

They have built a lot of apartments and condos around there and I'd guess 75% of them are gay occupied. Probably 50% of those on the streets are your own residents looking for ACTION or traveling through.

Did you not notice that before you moved in? Don't try to change the world if you are unhappy MOVE. Try sleeping at night instead of doing the Gladys Kravitz thing in the window at 4 AM......looking for dudes outside.

camera update.
anyone who might not yet know, the high-def security camera that ties in with midtown blue police is now in place at 7th and cypress. this is similar to other cameras in the area and they do capture anything and everything in clear detail.
